Beople's Buddies Animal Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to rehabilitate abandoned animals and promote forever homes through compatibility-based placements.

When we rescued Beople in 2010, he was skin and bones. Completely malnourished, it had become too painful for him to eat because of his rotten teeth. With practically no hair left on his ears, he seemed to have almost given up. But a little TLC went a long way and after dental surgery, his appetite and health improved.

As you can see from the picture, Beople is a completely different dog today. He is the light of our lives and the inspiration for Beople’s Buddies Animal Rescue (BBAR), which was created on the premise that Every Buddy Deserves Love.

At BBAR, it is our mission to rehabilitate abandoned animals and promote forever homes through compatibility-based placements. We provide our furry companions with a full circle of care that includes medical treatment, individualized one-on-one attention, socialization, and training – essentially a very good foster care system to prepare them for a successful transition into their next home.

Our vision is to further support the interconnectivity of animal life, human life, and the environment through saving animals from euthanasia. We bring abandoned animals into a nurturing and loving environment where they are connected with human companions to begin the healing process. Every time one of our buddies is adopted, we celebrate by dedicating a tree in their honor through Tree People, a local environmental nonprofit. Proceeds directly benefit the planting and care for L.A.'s community and local forests, ensuring a livable and sustainable future for you and your new furry family member to enjoy... It’s a full circle process!
