Indigo Rescue/Indigo Ranch

Our goal is to end animal abandonment: to reduce the number of pets left at shelters or on the streets trying to survive on their own. We do this by encouraging people to select pets that fit their lifestyle and by adopting to compatible homes.

Indigo Rescue is a non-profit organization whose mission is to end animal abandonment and pet overpopulation in our community.

Indigo Rescue is not a shelter; we house our adoptable dogs and cats in foster homes throughout Portland.

If you want to catch up with us, you can come to one of our adoption events which are held every other Sunday at the Petsmart store on 185th (South Tanasbourne) or at the Tanasbourne Petco every Wednesday.
