Mission Statement: To shelter and care for lost and unwanted animals; To place animals into humane environments; To implement programs that increase everyone's awareness of their responsibilities to all animals.

The Circle of Friends Humane Society is the only animal shelter in our area that accepts every stray animal that comes to our door. We also act as the city animal impound facility for the city of Grand Forks.

Our organization provides second chances to 1700-1800 pets each year at an average of 20-30 per week.

We rely on the support of the community to help us provide services including adoption programs, volunteer opportunities, education presentations, microchips/ID tags, emergency medical and spay/neuter assistance.
