A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue

A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue's mission is to help all the homeless, neglected, abused animals and find them forever homes and educate the public on how important spaying and neutering is.

Just a quick message as a reminder to our wonderful supporters: Our organization is volunteer-based, we run solely on the efforts of our fabulous volunteers. These volunteers work full time jobs, have families with children in extracurricular activities, pets of their own and other responsibilities and yet still squeeze time out of the day to volunteer their time to our organization and otherwise homeless animals.

With that being said, sometimes things happen out of our control... please remember it could take 24-72 hours for someone to respond to applications, questions, etc. We always are looking out for the best interest of our animals to ensure they are placed with the best possible families.

If you haven't received a response within 3 days, please email us at arejoycefulrescue@yahoo.com or message us on this page! Thank you for your continued support.

- The ARAR family
------------------------------------------------------------

Ever wonder how YOU can make a huge impact on the lives of these poor helpless animals? A ReJoyceful Animal rescue is always in desperate need of new volunteers. We need volunteers to aide in fundraising, aide in follow up, fostering, help with administrative or just say a prayer for the babies we are trying to save. If you want to volunteer we can always use your help. It does not matter if you can devote as little as 4 hours a week or 40 hours a week. Every volunteer makes a difference.

Here are the various volunteering opportunities available:

Fostering – This is probably one of the most rewarding experiences ever! To see an animal come to you that is helpless, lonely, lost, abused and neglected go from underdog to wonderdog is probably the best feeling in the whole world. Fostering can be demanding at times given the situation of the animal that has been placed in your care. However, fostering should cost you no money at all. The rescue will provide everything that is needed to help you foster the animal in your care. All the foster has to do is ensure that the animal you are fostering gets to its scheduled vet appointments (of course these appointments would be when it is best fit into the fosters schedule), gets the love and attention that the animal so much deserves. The rescue will do everything else. We provide the food, medical care, crates, toys, beds, moral support, ANYTHING you need to care for the animal the rescue will provide. Once the animal is placed up for adoption, you have the choice to be actively involved in the placement of the animal or you can let the rescue do it also. The choice is yours. Fostering is by far one of the most life changing things you can do for the animal. The more foster homes we have, the more lives that can be saved. Please consider this if you have the room and availability. All foster homes must be reviewed prior to fostering. All animals currently in the home MUST be spayed or neutered and current on all vaccines, monthly heartworm preventive, monthly flea preventive and healthy prior to the rescue placing a foster animal in your care. The rescue will NEVER place a foster animal in your home that you cannot handle or that will not fit into your lifestyle. We ask that when you sign up to take on a foster animal, you sign up for what could be a long commitment. It can take anywhere from a week to a year or longer to find an animal the right family. If you do not intend on keeping a foster animal for an extended period of time, fostering might not be the right opportunity for you. Maybe another volunteering opportunity within the organization would better suite you….

Administrative – A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue can always use administrative help. We are always in need of volunteers to do follow up on animals, helping to maintain files, maintain the website, maintaining the e-mail database, sending out spay and neuter reminders, aiding in the placement of animals, helping at adoption events, educating the public, helping to streamline processes and procedures, bringing fresh new ideas to the table.

Fundraising – This is also a rewarding way to volunteer. We are always in need of volunteers to steer and head up fundraisers. This is how the rescue can stay in business and save the lives that need us so desperately. If you are a good people person and “ain’t to proud to beg” helping with our fundraising efforts might be right up your ally. We need volunteers to solicit for donations, solicit for donation baskets / giveaways for fundraising events, bring fresh and innovative ideas for different types of fundraisers to do, help with organizing adoption events, help with marketing and branding.

If none of the above qualifies for something that you could do, we can ALWAYS use monetary donations to help the cause. Every dollar helps. No donation is too small.
