Tab wants to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Tab is thankful for all of the volunteers that bring him food every day, even on holidays. Tab is also thankful for all of our wonderful supporters that have helped him when he has needed medical care in the past. Our community cats are very well taken care of and get fresh plates of food and water 365 days a year.

Pilgrim is still healing. He is still very scared but does not lash out. I wish he would learn to use the litter box though 😢. Thank you for your support of this sweet street boy.

Good morning from Pilgrim, he ate all of his wet food last night and spilled his water. It looks like he ate a little bit of dry food but not much. He was cozy in his kennel. He got a new bowl of wet food and water this morning. Once he comes off the top of the transfer cage today I will change out the towels that are wrapped around it. He got the lime dip yesterday and he’s just overall pretty dirty so that’s why the towel on top is so dirty. It was a completely white towel when he went into that kennel yesterday. Thank You so much for your support.

Meet Pilgrim. He has been a community cat around my house (Teresa) for the last few years. He has always avoided my traps and would never let me go near him. Today, one of my neighbors knocked on my door to tell me there was a sick cat on the porch next door. I walked over and he was so sick he didn’t move. I set the trap with food and he walked right in for the food!!
I was lucky enough to get @fixlongbeachpets to see him today. We did a FIV/FELV test (came back negative for both, yeah). We did blood work, it showed infection. He has mange and an eye infection too. He received an ivermectin shot and a covenia shot as well as a lime dip. We were sent home with 5 more doses of ivermectin. He has to stay kenneled for the next 6 weeks. He will get Revolution applied tomorrow and a dewormer for his internal parasites and fleas. Please send him good thoughts. He is struggling right now,
