Week of Thanks:

Clarion is thankful for microchips! As you may know, Clarion had been with us since March after being found by a local shelter. She was microchipped; however, her owner wasn’t found as he wasn’t from this area. She escaped as he was traveling through. Despite all of his efforts, he couldn’t find her. We took her in and worked with her to determine her needs. A few weeks ago, we received a message from her owner. He had just resettled and updated his contact information for the microchip only to see that she was found. The original messages never reached him. The two had a very happy reunion after he travelled from California to get her. Microchips do work! Allie Mae (formerly Clarion) asks you to please microchip your pets.

WEEK OF THANKS…. Whiskers is thankful for modern medicine. Whiskers had an extreme upper respiratory infection when she came into the rescue and was taken straight to our veterinary partners who took excellent care of her and she is now URI free and out with the rest of the fosters.
