Mission Statement

ALABAMA ANIMAL CONTROL ASSOCIATION

The mission of the Alabama Animal Control Association (AACA) is to ensure that training is made available for all animal control officers and humane officers throughout the state and work with local and state officials to enact new animal related laws. The President and Vice President of the Alabama Animal Control Association shall work in concert with the (AACA) board to see this mission and responsibilities of the (AACA) are carried out.



Goals

.> .. To educate and train animal control and humane officers
Develop rigorous penalties for offenders

.> To develop programs with special emphasis on responsible pet ownership

.> To act as advocates for those unable to speak for themselves


Alabama Animal Control Association is a non-profit organization that is made up of Animal Control Professionals from across the State of Alabama. Our goal is to provide low cost effective training to agencies within our state educating them about humane animal care, safety and state law.
