Don't know what to do when you've either LOST or FOUND a pet? Our lost & found page on our website is dedicated to helping families reunite with their pets! 🐾

Every stray animal we get at HCH will be held for 3-5 days, giving owners time to come forward & redeem their pet. Pictures & basic info on each animal is posted on our website.

If you have lost a pet, check the site on a DAILY basis, you never know when your pet might show up! The page also has info on redemption, fees, etc.

**If you have found a stray animal and cannot keep it or bring it in to us, PLEASE call Animal Management for assistance.

Zoey's new foster family just sent us an awesome update. Just a reminder that sweet Zoey girl has been looking for a forever home for over two months now!

Here is what her foster family has to say about Zo:
"Someone from HCH said Zoey is like a ray of sunshine🌞, and that is the truth! She has a happy spark about her that is contagious. If you want to get 10,000 steps a day she'd love to help you with that, but she seems equally happy to just chill out at home. At night she is sleeping in a crate that she needs little encouragement to enter (she has dragged some of her toys in there!), and she is using the dog door to go in and out of the house. She has the most intriguing brindle coat and very expressive ears to go along with it. Zoey is truly one of a kind!💖"

Leroy is a 2.5 year old who has been in the shelter non-stop since September. He is getting more sad & stressed by the day and really needs a home where he can decompress. A foster home would be AMAZING but and adopter would be even better! Let's get this boy out of here. 🚨

Here's some info about him: New people and places can be a little scary for Leroy so he's going to need a lot of patience getting to know you and learning his way around a new home. Once he gets to know you he is so loving and sweet. He gets along well with friendly dogs and loves to play.🐾❤️ At this time, we don't recommend young kids being in the home.

Meet Embra, a sweet 6 month old kitten looking for her forever home. 🦋💐

Embra can be shy at first and it may take her a little bit of time to warm up to you as her previous experience with humans wasn't too pleasant. But once she warms up, she will want all of the chin and booty scratches. Embra has a very loud purr and she will purr even if you aren't petting her, if you just talk to her, she purrs. Embra loves to chase the laser pointer and pounce on cat toys. She also likes to gently nibble on your fingers but it's out of love. 😘 Sometimes, she likes to snuggle under the blankets with you.

Embra is a beautiful kitten, she has a ringed multicolored tail with a little white patch at the end of it and she's missing a little chunk out of her left ear making it shorter than the other. Embra gets along with great other cats but hasn't had any experience with dogs yet. She likes to take naps next to her trusted human, but don't be surprised if she's asleep on your feet when you wake up in the morning. 😊

Embra's adoption fee is only $100 right now, which includes her spay, vaccines and microchip!

This 1.5 year old Siamese mix is chatting up a storm here at the shelter. He is SO friendly and ready to meet every single person that walks into the community cat room. This cross-eyed love will make such a wonderful addition to any household.

Just like a typical siamese, he is vocal, social, playful, independent and curious. Kahlo is always checking out something new, whether it's the new cats or the new toys he has to give it a sniff. You can often find him perched up high, observing the goings-on of shelter life. He can get along with other friendly kitties although sometimes he can be a bit pushy just because he has no sense of their personal boundaries!
