Diego has come such a long way !!!
He is feeling much better & moving so much better !!!
He is still on medication and will be going back to the vet again for more bloodwork & check up.
We are definitely on the right track !
Mr D has been enjoying his time hanging out & supervising the guys while they are doing construction on the new dog room.
He's also getting into the Halloween Spirit !
I'm so Grateful to Everyone who has been supportive of our rescue.
Mr D has a ways to go before he is back to his active self.
He may not get fully back to doing some things, but he is gainining his weight back !He's also getting back to being the main supervisor around here & going up & down the stairs !

Update
& Fundraiser for Luna
Well its become a much bigger issue than originally thought back in march. 💔
Here are the results from her Culture test.
We are dealing with
Staphylococcus aureus
Pseudomonas &
Providencia rettgeri .

She has been on injections of Amikacin 50mg 7cc for the last 5 days.
(Today is the last day)
This is a very strong antibiotic that can affect her kidneys. 😐
So first thing tomorrow morning we have to go back to Dr.Sig for bloodwork & to discuss the next step in her recovery.
We have a long hard road to recovery ahead.
We are seriously struggling financially with our rescue.
We have spent thousands on medical bills we are trying to catch up on. 💔
We truly appreciate the support she has been getting&.

🆘️ Fundraiser 🆘️
We are in Desperate Need of Donations! We can't take on anymore dogs until we have gotten some more dogs adopted & have help from the Village to continue to care for those we have in our physical care !
We know the world is in chaos since covid started .
We understand many are seriously struggling!
But without your help we won't be able to continue to rescue! We are basically at a stand still with rescue.
We have 14 dogs that have been with us from 2 - 9 yrs !
They are always over looked because of how they need to be managed or because of medical issues.
But that doesn't mean WE can give up on them!
They depend on us 24/7 for all their needs.
Housing, Medical, Food, Rehab & Training. We DDM do it all !
I Tammy am hoping to raise up to $3000
Because we are behind with our medical bills and still have other rescues that also need new check ups & blood work.
People aren't adopting right now. And those people who were 'fostering' or adopted from shelters during the lockdown are now dumping dogs back at the shelters!
(We luckily do Not have dogs in foster or dogs coming back due to covid)
Our kennel permits are set for the next year.
So that's a huge relief.
But we still have upgrades on kennels and fencing we have been working that aren't finished.
Donations have pretty much come to a halt.
So we are always scrambling around doing our best to get everything the dogs need to be happy & secure ...

help the dogs !

It's been a while because of covid lockdown so now we are slowly getting back into daily training. ☺️
Frankie is still looking for his forever family.
He is an extremely intelligent guy who needs a very experienced handler.
He is very dog selective & can't be in a home with cats.
This guy needs to be active & loves learning.

Miles did Amazing yesterday! He met so many wonderful people & dogs at
Escape Craft Brewery in Redlands.
Miles is still working thru some desensitizing & he really enjoyed his day yesterday.
(We did hang out by another dog trainer with her lil BC who was also there for some desensitizing 😉 & Miles got lots of love from her kids!❤)
Miles got to meet & hang with the SB County Firefighters Pipes & Drumstat crew while they were practicing!
(Also made a friend with one of our own JT Fireman who truly took time to hang with him ❤)
The music was loud & Miles wasn't sure about the drums at first but he settled easily once he realized nothing bad was going to happen.
Very proud of him !
We are still looking for the Right family for this Gentleman.
He needs an Experienced CC owner/ family.
Miles is not the dog to be a 'first time CC owner type of guy' this breed is not for everyone.
Due to his past & his future needs we will only be accepting applications from Experienced CC owners.
Our goal is to ensure Miles has the best possible future & has all his needs met to keep him Happy Healthy & Social...

Luna medical fundraiser...
We need to raise $2000 for Luna!
Although Luna has had her culture, bloodwork done & been on antibiotics we are still struggling to get this under control. 😐
Its cleared up from her tongue & back of her mouth but now its moved to her bottom lip.
We are doing everything possible we can to get this handled.
Luna is now at the point we are taking her to our other vet & specialist.
She's hanging in there but this does cause issues with her eating as it can be painful at times.

Update on Luna & Jr medical...☺️
I realized I haven't posted an update on these 2.
You can see in the pic Lunas mouth is Healing !
We believe we are on the right track now finally!
She is still on meds & has to be on soft food (honest kitchen pâté)
After her meds are finished she will have to go back to see Sig again for check up & figure out if we need to do more meds.
Jr is doing great ! Almost done with his meds. His mouth has healed nicely & pretty fast with no other issues present at this time.
Both dogs are happier now & feeling good !

👑 Melody practicing some fun off leash drills 🐾
Melody has been with us for a few years now.
She is still searching for the Right person to give her a chance at a new life.
Melody had a rough start & her genetics definitely play a part in her daily struggles.
Although she Loves training & learning she struggles with resource guarding, reactive issues with other dogs & men.
She's accepting applications from Experienced Bully Breed owners & someone whose willing to put in the work. 😉

Good Boy Miles !
This guy is just Amazing..😊🐾
Miles is doing so good he is such a love bug & all around happy guy ❤
Today he decided He wanted to do some drills ! Literally the first time he's shown any interest 😉 So we went for it !

Miles is still searching for his forever family...
And its because of his past & medical history we have to support his needs & what's Best for Him.

Miles did Amazing yesterday! He met so many wonderful people & dogs at
Escape Craft Brewery in Redlands.
Miles is still working thru some desensitizing & he really enjoyed his day yesterday.
(We did hang out by another dog trainer with her lil BC who was also there for some desensitizing 😉 & Miles got lots of love from her kids!❤)
Miles got to meet & hang with the SB County Firefighters Pipes & Drumstat crew while they were practicing!
(Also made a friend with one of our own JT Fireman who truly took time to hang with him ❤)
The music was loud & Miles wasn't sure about the drums at first but he settled easily once he realized nothing bad was going to happen.
Very proud of him !
We are still looking for the Right family for this Gentleman.
He needs an Experienced CC owner/ family.
Miles is not the dog to be a 'first time CC owner type of guy' this breed is not for everyone.
Due to his past & his future needs we will only be accepting applications from Experienced CC owners.
Our goal is to ensure Miles has the best possible future & has all his needs met to keep him Happy Healthy & Social...
