After waiting almost all week, we finally have Lola out of the shelter and she is safe! This sweet Senior has definitely had a hard life but it’s nothing but soft warm beds, good food and love from this day forward! Lola will remain as a forever foster with PTR and her fosters, Cammie and Steve are amazing medical/senior dog fosters who will shower her with love. Lola’s days will be filled with calmness, quiet and caring people in her life. There were so many people advocating for Lola and we are very thankful to everyone who fell in love with this little old lady – we are beyond grateful to be chosen as her caregivers.

URGENT: We pulled Holly from IVHS today. We found out when we picked her up that they had removed several mammary tumors during her spay. We paid $260 to have them biopsied. They are also staying that she has a possible mass on the right side of her abdomen.
Holly is at our Vet now; she will need blood work and X-rays to check on the mass. Holly is only 5 yrs old and weighs 9.7 lbs .... we need to make sure she is taken care of.
The minimum vet bill for her will be $400 - $500 in addition to the $260 paid to biopsy the tumors.Holly was obviously used for breeding. We are asking for donations to help with her medical. Depending on the biopsy results, she may require further treatment.

🌺🌺🌺 Meet GINGER! #A1500476 Riverside Shelter RESCUED 2/27/19! Ginger is a 13 months old female Pit Bull with a pretty tan and white coat.
Oh my gosh, this little girl is just a doll baby! We are so happy that everything aligned so perfectly for her and that she is safe! Ginger had her first vet visit and this is what we know; she is 13 months old, has had a litter of puppies (about 2 months ago), is not spayed, has some skin issues and horribly swollen ears. You can see just how awful they are in her photos. The vet is sending her foster mom, Chelsea, home with medicated shampoo, Omegas, steroids and more to help reduce the swelling in her ears and we have ordered an allergy sensitivity test for her to see if allergens are contributing to her issues. The vet is sedating her in order to flush out her ears and she will have her spay when she is feeling more comfortable. So far she is settling in well — learning to walk on a leash and sit on command. Very smart girl. Rides well in the car too. Taking well to the horses and interested in the cats but not aggressively. 💓

URGENT: We pulled Holly from IVHS today. We found out when we picked her up that they had removed several mammary tumors during her spay. We paid $260 to have them biopsied. They are also staying that she has a possible mass on the right side of her abdomen.
