Last night we received a super sad call that Gravy, an 8 week old pup was Parvo positive.

Of course we jumped into action and we wanted to help in any way we could.

Our team picked up the little guy up from Mohnacky Animal Hospital then whisked him to the Emergency vet in Poway.

Just the overnight alone, the bill will be at least $1000 and he will be in treatment for another 2 nights. So, if you even have $5 to spare, please consider donating! Every penny counts. Gofundme link in bio.

🐾💚Adopter Needed💚🐾 Lottie is a shepherd mix, about 40 pounds and is a sweet and quiet gal. She is around 2 years old and came to ASR needing to become a tripod due to her prior medical ,but has thrived ever since! Being an Amazing Tres doesn't stop her from getting out and about and having a good time. She does great with other dogs and would love to have a buddy in the home. She is a little shy with new people at first ,but LOVES pepperoni as that is the key to making her your BFF.  She would be fine with older kids ,but the younger kiddos are a little too small for her speed. She would love a family to give her all the belly rubs, ear scratches (have you seen those ears??) and quiet times are in store for this pretty girl with a family like yours. 🐾💚Foster/Adopter Needed💚🐾 What is once was broken will be made whole again 💕 Carly girl crossed our path when we were asked to assist with rescue upon which we realized that the place she was wasn’t safe. Maybe they didn’t pay attention? Maybe they didn’t care? This girl has skin issues for days and was sick with pneumonia and 105 fever. She needed a solution and fast. But we needed a plan and with the help of Martha de Gahanand Betty Martinez we secured an overnight plan and Lisa Biel swooped her up the next day while Angela Smith opened her home in an instant with welcome arms. Carly is learning what safe feels like and is getting the proper nutrition, warmth, medical care, and love that she will need now and for the future. This girl has a road ahead to feeling truly safe but because so many people and little acts of kindness, she was able to find safety. That is the definition of rescue. 🐾💚Adopter Needed💚🐾 Did you call my name? Cause my ears are itching so it must mean someone is talking about me. But of course the folks here at ASR say everyone is going to be talking about me and these fabulous speakers on the side of my head. Excuse me for being rude, my name is Aquiles and I am a shep maybe Belgian mal mix. I'm a little past my teenage years at 2 years old and I weigh about 55 lbs full grown. They say I'm a great medium sized guy but I think I can hang with the big and little dogs with ease. I love to exercise and love to play with friends...I think ever dog out here might be my bestie before long. I love people of all sizes and types, doesn't matter as long as you have as much love as I do to give. I am even great with toddlers and small kids and know to be gentle! I am learning tons about crate training, loving all my regular meals and living large but know you are coming for me soon so I don't plan to get too settled. Just look for me, and my speaker ears when you arrive. Can't wait to meet you!

🐾💚Adopter Needed💚🐾 Some girls are just extra special...and lots of volunteers here at ASR think Anita is one of those girls. This tender heart is a pittie mix who is an adult weighing in at about 35 lbs full grown. She is a lean girl who clearly hasn't met many kind hands or had regular meals and even with that, she is accepting of all people and learning how to relax and enjoy being safe for once. Anita has a soft soul and is super friendly upon meeting new folks but is sure to be the most committed and loyal of family members with all the love in the world to give. She enjoys other dogs and would do really well to be in a home with a pal. Anita is not the barky loud type at all and does well in a crate and knows everything there is to know about where to use the bathroom. This sweet and loving girl deserves the very best of homes.
