Hi adopters, fosters, supporters, volunteers, animal lovers,

We hate to write on this and ask for monetary donations especially in a time like this, but we're in deep trouble this month. We're reaching out to some of our adopters, fosters, and people in our network that have been supporting us! It's been very difficult these past few months to keep up with expenses, and we are very much so in the negative. Our rent is due on the 15th this month, we haven't paid last month's (thank goodness to our landlord for extending the due date), and we're still $2000 low in terms of rent. Bottom line, we're really scared of shutting down right now.

If you're able to donate anything at all, even just $5, we can hopefully push forward and get through this. We're waiting on a $15K grant from the state which will hopefully get us over at least until next year when adoptions improve. We really really hope to continue to serve animals and the community as we have. Over the past year, we have found forever homes for over 700 animals. That number keeps going up annually, and we hope to keep being able to do that. Right now, we have 70 animals in our care (foster homes and at the shelter).
