Ever wonder what a dog is thinking when they dream? Well I think Nakita is thinking about Boys 🤣 she’s come a long long way. Keep smiling princess we love you.
When we lose a dog in rescue we try to honor his/ her memory by saving another dog in need. To honor the memory of our Bailey, who we had for almost 18 years we saved Bella.
Bella now FiFi from OC shelter has a lot going medically. We called to see if she had any interest and she didn’t. So we knew we didn’t want her to spend one more second in the shelter.
With a team of people, we were able to get her out today.
I’ll post a medical report soon.

Happy thanksgiving, FiFi ❤️
Last photo is our sweet Bailey. He suddenly passed away a few days ago and we are still so crushed. His memory saved FiFi’s life.
Mojo feeling so much better after his surgery. Looking sharp little man!!
Such a HUGE surgery for such a tiny baby girl.
Snoopy was rescued from OC shelter within minutes of him being euthanized. A mile of medical issues we pulled him to give him a better life.
He had a family who loved him and accepted him for all his quarks (biter).
In the past few weeks his medical has progressively gotten worse and his dementia had caused him to no longer have quality of life even with all the medications he was on to help him. Once the meds stopped working we knew we had to keep our promise to him. To never allow him to suffer.
Yesterday in the arms of his foster family he took his well deserved trip over to the rainbow bridge 🌈
Thank you Burger family for loving him and giving him love, peace and comfort.
Rest In Peace papa. We will love and miss you always.

Daisy (Betty) in a joint rescue effort with our friends @hopeforpawsrescue ,Sweet little daisy is safe.
She will be having staged surgeries due to the complexity of her medical needs.
Yesterday was one of two, she had her large hernia repaired by the incredible CARES Team… thank you @smartapproachvet for working so hard and late into the night on her.
Her foster family really stepped up when she had nobody. And we can’t rescue without fosters.
Welcome to a new world little lady… we promise no more suffering for you.

Someone was discharged tonight and back with her fosters.
Thank you Dr Kim of Central Orange County Emergency Animal Hospital it doesn’t seem like enough.
Procedures preformed - Ectopic Ureter repair, bilateral inguinal hernia. Her spay will be done in the near future.
We are able to help these extreme medical cases because of the kind hearted people who support us. Our donors, Vet staff, partnered rescues ETC. Team work gives them the chance to live lives they’ve always deserved.

For the first time in her young life she is peeing normal.
Her liver/kidney elevations have normalized.
She’s still in recovery but we are hopeful she will continue to heal.
This is one of the toughest undertakings we’ve done as a rescue.
