Colby is super cute and snuggly Doxie/Terrier mix from New Mexico. I’m about 18 months and about 17lbs. I have lots of love to give! I am currently looking for my forever home with a secure fenced in back yard (at least 5ft tall). I might belong to the ‘short-legged-club’ but I can jump pretty high and I’m fast as a light bolt! Yes, even racing my humans down the stairs and I do often win! Please be careful - I would never mean to trip you – I just wanna be first - ya know! At my foster mom’s place, I use the doggie door during the day, no accidents in the house, but I’m never left unattended outside when she’s not home. I used to sleep in a crate at night, but I have since upgraded my sleeping arrangement to my Mom’s bed – I SOOooo love the big bed. Preferably right next to my foster mom, sometimes even under the blanket! I am UTD on shots, heartworm tested, chipped, and neutered. I have not been cat tested and my foster Mom does not have young children. I’m feeling a little bit unsure about these smaller humans, (they are adorable for sure and they do provide unlimited dropped snacks - gotta love that part!) But probably would do better with respectful kids over 12 y/o. I currently have 5 foster siblings and we get along great. I’m wishing for a furever family that has another pup for me to play with. Having a playmate would be so awesome as I have lots of energy and could use the running around with a friend as an outlet for all that! Bailey is an approx. 4 mos old 14# Cattledog mixed with Corgi perhaps. She's a young, sweet, happy, active puppy who would to best with another younger playful dog in the home and experienced humans who are not gone long hours and will include her in their daily activities. Bailey is working on potty training and has fairly clear signals on when she needs to go outside but a home with a fenced in yard (preferably a wood privacy fence that she cannot climb) is REQUIRED so she can continue to learn her house manners. Bailey would not be a good fit for an apartment situation. She sleeps in her crate at night but does wake up to go potty in the middle of the night still. She does not enjoy being in the crate when her humans are home. She has not been tested with kids but respectful children 8+ should be fine. She doesn't mind dog savvy cats. Bailey needs an active family and would love to learn a dog sport. She currently gets car sick so her adoptive family will need to work on that. Bailey knows sit and down and has a very good recall so far. Hi! I’m Gwen! I’m pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself. My foster mom agrees though. I love to snuggle in laps and right next to my foster mom in bed. Her bed is way more comfortable as far as I’m concerned. I’m a Chi/Doxie mix, I think. I’m a slim 14 pounds and am almost two years old. I’m a little nervous and shy when I meet new people, but settle in when I realize they have TREATS! Men make me nervous because they’re so big, but if they are patient and nice, I come around. I have this amazing toy right on my rear end and I chase it every day! When I catch it, nothing seems to happen. Strange! I like to supervise when my foster mom cooks…just in case she sees my cuteness and gives me a little something. I would love a small doggie friend to play with, but I would also be OK if I’m your one and only. Since I’m a nervous gal, I would prefer no young kids. Cats don’t bother me at all and I walk nicely on a leash. I’m a super fast runner, so a secured fenced yard is a requirement for me. I’m crate trained, potty trained, spayed, utd on vaccs and chipped. This super sweet and photogenic guy is Scruffy. Scruffy is a neutered, 2 year old, Westie mix, about 16lbs. His hair is beginning to grow back after being shaved due to being heavily matted. Scruffy has taken a few days to open up and is still a little hesitant, but loves attention and sitting in your lap. He loves to sun bathe outside and roll around in the grass. Scruffy has started playing with toys and showing his playful side. He does well with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats or kids. He is hesitant when being picked up, but once in your arms, he loves the attention. Scruffy loves to follow his foster parents around the house and lay in his dog bed near them. During the night, Scruffy has been sleeping in his kennel and doing great! He has only had one accident in the house during the day, but likely due to it being a new environment as it seems he knows to go potty outside. Scruffy is getting used to walking on a leash and loves to smell and observe his new surroundings. Overall, Scruffy is a huge cuddle bug who loves attention once he warms up to you. Scruffy would love a fenced in yard and humans who aren’t gone long hours. Ebbie is male and is a soft cuddly polar bear who is always ready to give kisses. He has a laidback personality and loves to play with toys. Ebbie requires a yard and another friendly and playful canine companion in the home. We think that mom is a long-haired Chi mix (approx 13#) but dad is unknown. He just approx 10 weeks old and is looking for his forever home. These puppies are tiny so would do best with older respectful children and will still need to be supervised at all times and not left outdoors unattended. Conner is an approx. 3 y/o, 30# Corgi maybe mixed with Shepherd, or just an oversized Corgi. He could stand to gain a little weight but just a couple more pounds. He has a great temperament and is good with all dogs. He’s a fairly laid back fellow and is just starting to play with other dogs, but would love another dog who will play with him. A secure fenced in yard is REQUIRED for Conner plus an active family who isn’t gone long hours and will include him in their activities. Conner would not be a good fit for an apartment situation. Conner has not been tested with cats or kids but would likely do well with respectful children 8+. He’s potty trained but will need some gentle reminders that marking indoors is not appropriate; he gets better and better every day with learning this. He’s a gentleman and is good on the leash. He needs some coaxing to get into the kennel and settles after a bit but doesn’t love being in there very long and is not destructive if left out unattended. Rika is a 13 mos old Border Collie/Corgi weighing 22#. She was surrendered with her sister as they were a bit too much energy for them. They are sweet, affectionate girls who are looking for an experienced and active home with humans who are home a lot. Rika craves human affection and will want to sleep in the big bed. Both are potty trained when let out frequently but need time to figure out how best to let their human know that they need to go out. Rika happily goes into her crate. Rika walks nicely on the leash until she sees another dog so an experienced owner will need to work on her leash reactivity. Rika is treat motivated so foster has been working on that. She is dog friendly and loves to play but they would do best in a home with NO cats or children. Rika would do best in a quieter home without a lot of commotion or visitors going in and out. The girls love each other but we realize they are very different and require different homes but would like the owners to keep in touch if possible. Rika knows some basic cues but would like humans who can teach her more and she’d love to learn a dog sport. She is herdy and will playfully nip at your heels at times. A fenced in yard where she can romp and play is REQUIRED; she would not be a good fit for an apartment situation. Pip is a sweet and loving 10 week old girl. Mom is a Chow/Corgi but she looks like she’s got some Husky or Shepherd in her as well. Pip is spunky, inquisitive and quick to learn. She will make a great adventure pal. She loves to play outside and with other dogs. Pip loves attention and loves to cuddle. She is learning to use the outdoors to potty but will require training and consistency in their new home. Pip would do best with kids 10+ and a fenced in yard.
