Kays Hill Animal Sanctuary the home of Bildershaw Animal Rescue
Bildershaw Animal Rescue offers a safe haven for pets, that for whatever reason people are unable to keep and where possible after assessment, re-homing
Kays Hill Animal Sanctuary has over 200 animals who are long term residents there. In addition there is an active rescue operation whose aim is to rescue abandoned or neglected pets and, after neutering and health checks, to find suitable homes for them. Cats, kittens, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small furries pass through Bildershaw Animal Rescue on a regular basis.
With the help of a dedicated core team of volunteers, we are working towards revamping the entire site (15 acres). This will make it accessible for local people to visit, whilst maintaining, and where possible improving, the quality of life of all of our resident animals.
Kays Hill Animal Sanctuary is only able to function through the kind donations we receive from the general public. This could be something as simple as dropping an extra tin of cat food into one of our donation bins in local supermarkets, or making a cash donation which enable us to pay for things that people don't always think about like hay and straw, or our large vet bills every month.
