So grateful for two fellow rescue angels and the Pet Alliance Pet Pantry for this canned food windfall. We had to start a Chewy autoship because we weren't getting enough donations but thanks to this huge donation, now we just need dry food, litter and supplements. It's a huge weight off as we have so many medical costs. Christmas came early!

Thank you from Marigold and Marmalade to everyone who donated toward their Mom's vet bill. I forgot to ask how much it was before I left but I am sure we have enough to cover it.

Greats news is that her neck wounds are due to flea allergies so now she's been treated for fleas and her wound cleaned, hopefully those will heal soon.

Her eye is either deformed from birth or an injury, hard to know, not sure yet how well she sees out of that eye but she may need to see a specialist later. For now it's been cleaned and we will treat for inflammation.

What a Friday. Just took in this injured Mom and her two babies. We need to raise money for her vet bill. Our funds are low and we have so many bills to pay already. I am taking her this afternoon for tests and to get her eye and wounds checked out. We expect today's bill to be at least $200.

Our little fighter Lucky lost his battle with FIP. Last night he crossed the rainbow bridge. Really no words can express how devastated we are. From the moment he came to us, he had such a purrsonality, this tiny little kitten refused to be contained. He wanted to be in the big room with the adult kitties a few times his size. No fear. We love and miss you so much. RIP Lucky. 💔

Such a great week! Finally our sweet Charm was adopted yesterday. She was found by herself in a Winter Garden neighbor's yard. She became besties with our Lucky right away and we had planned to have them adopted together until Lucky became ill.

Beyond overjoyed to announce that Nacho was adopted Monday with Nod. Felt a bit teary marking him as adopted. I miss our adult cats the most because they are usually with us longer.

Nacho's siblings fortunately found homes quickly but this boy has been waiting for months and it was worth the wait because his daddies applied for him. And then they fell in love with Nod too, one of our kittens getting older and bigger and overlooked for the little ones.

Nacho will probably be glad that I am not singing to him anymore. "Nacho, nacho man, you're gonna be my nacho man" Yep, I'm THAT cat lady.
