UPDATE ~
We had a special visitor yesterday. Our very own Maisie 2 came in to get her nails trimmed. Here she is giving Kim some thank you kisses.
For those that are new, Maisie 2 was our "bathroom" kitty for a while. This sweet girl had been hit by a car and left for dead. Someone stopped to move her from the road and noticed she was still alive. Ultimately she ended up at Northside Veterinary-Clinic for humane euthanasia. Thankfully that didn't happen. They saw that while she had brain trauma and was partially blind, she was a fighter and wanted to live. So Northside Veterinary-Clinic contacted us, and we couldn't resist. After all, she fought to survive, so we were going to fight to find her home. And we did!!!!! Our gal got top-notch new parents. Her new mom said she filled a hole she had in her heart after losing her beloved Kitty Kitty. She admits she wasn't sure she was ready when she came in and met Maisie 2 but says she is so happy she did and that Maisie is the purr-fect cat!
Thank you for bringing our gal in for a visit, and thank you for giving her the life she always deserved!

My name is Dot ~
I'm not new to SOCKS; I was adopted a few months ago. Sadly, there was an accident, and I found myself back where it all started.
I am not available for adoption just yet. I am recovering from an accidental ingestion of an unknown toxin. Don't worry, I saw the good folks at Northside Veterinary-Clinic and received treatment. Sadly, the toxin has left me a little out of it. I had seizures, and my mood has been a bit unpredictable. Once I get the A-OK from my doc, I will be ready for visitors and, hopefully with enough time, ready for a new home and a new journey. Until then, I plan to hang out in the kitchen with Uncle Ed and be spoiled with peanut butter.
