🖤THANKFUL🖤
We have so much to be thankful for but today we are highlighting a montage of adoptions that we had over the past couple months. There are so many stories, from mama dogs and her puppies, to strays and hoarding cases, but today we will focus on the first picture.
Chili (on the left) came to us and it became apparent his hurt leg was going to require an amputation. One of our fosters who we’ll call a tripod whisperer stepped in to help him with the transition. While there he and his foster brother from another mother fell in love, each helping the other recover. By a stroke of luck, adopters also fell in love with both of them, together, and these two (Chili and Lambo) were adopted together into the same home. 🖤🖤

Thank you Skidaway for hosting Pups & Trucks yesterday! We had so much fun showing off our adoptable pups and meeting new faces! We can stay away for long — join us for a thanksgiving pack walk at 9:30am this Thursday! Walk it out before the big meal and enjoy a thankful nature walk with us!

Marvel update! Last week mama Marvel and baby Luke entered foster care after their time at Faulkville Animal Hospital. Marvel is recovering from her first procedure (spay/pyometra) and is being absolutely doted upon by her foster family. She continues to be the best mother to her baby and has been enjoying some solo walk time as well. Up next for mom will be heartworm treatment, which is planned to happen in January. After that she will be able to finish her other needed procedures. She is one tough mama and we are honored to take care of her! 🖤
