This cute adorable goober of a puppy is Gator and he’s ready for adoption! Please share so we can find him a home for the holidays!!

Gator is just under a year old, a big old puppy with energy ready to play but also ready to snuggle when it is nap time ( he really loves snuggle time) . He has done wonderful with other dogs that he’s been able to have play time with. Thinks that cats should also play, so we are working on that! Gator is kennel trained and doing great with house training. He would love a big back yard to play in ( a new canine sibling would be pretty fun too)!

This super cute bio was written by 7-8th graders at Newton Christian School and we so appreciate their help:

Hi, I’m Shirley! I am 3 years old and longing for a home. I’m a large red cattle dog with pointy ears and a red and white ticked coat, who loves to play and run. I enjoy being petted and beating my owners in tug-of-war. Chewing on squeaky toys and playing fetch are some of my favorite things to do. Being spunky and smart are my strong suits. Just imagine all of the tricks we can learn together!! Once I warm up to my new home I am very protective of my owners. I would love a home that is quiet and has a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run. I would be an ideal farm dog but I’m not great with small animals or small children. However, I would love another big dog to interact with and learn from each day. Will you be the person who can give me my forever home?

Gina (orange&white) is an absolute love! She loves to be cuddled and scratched; she gives kisses and wants to be around her people. Litter trained. Very playful and brings you all the bugs she can catch!

Marie likes everyone but isn't long for snuggles. She's got things to do and play with! She loves being petted. Uses litter box well & will let you know when her food and water are empty.

To close out black cat day, meet Darkness!

Darkness has been looking for his forever home for almost a year now and he’s only 1. He is a big boy who's a little shy when he first meets you. After he spends some time with you though he blossoms into a loving and playful companion. Darkness loves the laser pointer and running through his cat tunnel like a ninja. He would do best in a home with another cat for him to play with and continue to grow his confidence with.

This guy here is Whiskey. He is a 1 1/2 years old. He is just a bundle of energy and love. He will need a fenced in place to burn off all of his energy. We pulled 2 dogs from a full Missouri shelter today - thanks to our foster families - but this sweet gal came without a name! Her paperwork all cites a kennel # only. 😭😭

We think she deserves the best name ever! Here’s what we know so far: she is a year&a half old lab mix. Sweet as pie. Perky. Super soft. Soooo happy to see us.

What shall we name her?
