Archie is a newer guy and isn’t it ready for adoption just yet, but we highly recommend anyone looking for a low-shed type of pup to consider joining our foster program! Fosters always get first dibs on adopting their foster pet and “foster fails” account for nearly half of our adoptions!

Did you know that different rabbit breeds have different personality and physical characteristics?

New Zealand Rabbits like Droopy, for example, are known for their calm, friendly, and relaxed nature. They make an outstanding companion for any family and are easy to handle! A full grown adult can weigh between 9-12 pounds making them true ✨gentle giants✨ They are also commonly referred to as "the golden retrievers of bunnies" due to their friendly nature and intelligence!

Smiiiiile if you want to be in your forever home in time for the holidays! ❤️ Rena is the sweetest gal who has come so far in foster care. When she first arrived she was pretty shut down, but these days she’s a social butterfly. We’re over the moon to be opening @tortieandco - a unique gift boutique with free roaming adoptable OTAT cats helping you shop!

The boutique features small businesses from around the world, local makers, and OTAT merchandise for sale. **100% of profits benefit OTAT's dog, cat, and rabbit rescue program.**

The shop is located at 1468 N. Ashland Ave in Chicago. Our Grand Opening is Black Friday at 11am! We are open to the public after that every Thursday-Sunday. No appointment needed- come in get your holiday gifts and meet adoptable OCATS!

“When I first picked Sarah up to foster, she wasn’t feeling too hot. She was skinny, her fur was dull and coming out, she had a cold, and she had just gotten spayed. Colder days can mean a lot of inside time for dogs, but don’t forget dogs (and cats! and bunnies!) need mental and physical enrichment every👏single👏day👏

A couple of our Sprinkles devoted volunteers took her on a trip to @boslysbackyard and she had so much fun! Swipe to the last pic to see her face when it was time to go 🤣

Sprinkles is still waiting for her forever home! She loves working on tricks and loves to curl up next to you on the couch. She’s a petite bulldog mix and is so much smaller in person. She would love a calmer home and neighborhood as city life is a little much for this tiny potato.

Pax came us through a shelter partner in Arkansas. He had turned up there after getting attacked by… a hawk 🦅 Yeah, this kid as seen some sh*t and has lived to tell about it!

Pax is an awesome, friendly guy that enjoys meeting new friends - both human and canine! He loves a good snuggle sesh but is also always game for some fetch, too.
