Next Saturday we will be at @cafeandbarrgeneva to share how much we raised at our annual event this year, hang out with our community, and have a small raffle as well! We will be at Cafe & Barr from 4pm to 8pm, rain or shine! Dogs are also allowed on the patio, so bring them by if it is nice outside!
There will also be the option to purchase a Paintings by Pets bag to bring a fun project home to do with your furry babies!

We cannot believe itโs already here!
We are all so excited to host our seventh annual It's All About The Paws: Adoption Event starting to tomorrow!
Donโt have plans this weekend? Be sure to stop by! Rumor has it the weather will be perfect, so it will be a great weekend to hang with some cute adoptables and our team!
Our event will start at 11:00AM at Baker Memorial Park (next to Baker Memorial United Methodist Church) in downtown St. Charles and will run until 5:00PM both Saturday and Sunday!
When at the event, please practice mindfulness with your dog. Be aware of the space you allow your dogs and others. Though many dogs are friendly and enjoy others company, it can be overwhelming.

Falkor & Rescue Friends, NFP is a 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to raising awareness and educating our communities on the importance of understanding dogs' behavior and how they are communicating as individuals with their humans. F&RF is dedicated to assisting humans with being proactive when undesirable behaviors begin. Resulting in helping humans keep their dogs and helping to make Chicago a no-kill city. F&RF is a sanctuary for dogs that cannot be adopted because of behavior issues that are unsafe for the average home. F&RF is also a rescue that helps to get dogs adopted into forever homes.

@sneaker_heartz will be joining us for their second year at our annual It's All About The Paws: Adoption Event!
โThe idea for Sneaker Heartz started one morning when I woke up and glanced at my wall of shoes to decide which pair to wear that day. But instead of my usual excitement, I felt guilt; why should I have so many sneakers when I know there are so many people who don't even have one decent pair, let alone the excessive amount that line my walls on shelves? My first thought was to donate them, or maybe sell them for some type of fundraiser. Yet the more I sat there and thought about how to give back in some way, the more I realized that simply giving away or selling my own collections wasn't enough and would only rob me of the very passion that was fueling this philanthropic desire.
After speaking with my friend Jason Sandquist, he was quick to propose starting a nonprofit to explore just how great of an impact we could have on those who need it most. That suggestive nudge is all it took to light a fire under me to affect real, tangible change in my community that I am hopeful will someday reach even further. Because helping others is literally what I live for, Sneaker Heartz allows me the opportunity to join this life purpose with my lifelong passion for sneakers.โ

We are so freaking excited to have @livelikeroofoundation at our annual It's All About The Paws: Adoption Event for their first year with us! ๐
Live Like Roo is a 501c3 that assists animals through a cancer diagnosis by providing financial and emotional support to their owners. Their reach is worldwide, but are based in Chicago. Since 2016, they have granted over $1,000,000 to families going through one of the most difficult times of their lives. They send cancer care packages to animals with a cancer diagnosis. The care packages include a blanket, a tennis ball, toys, treats, aMcDonald's gift card-all of the things that Roo, the rescue dog, loved. Their goal is to inspire others to live every day like it is your last - Live Like Roo.

Our raffle baskets are a huge hit every year, and this year will not disappoint!
Each year the rescues in attendance donate their favorite items to our raffle! And, since IAATP loves to support local businesses, nearly all the raffle baskets we have are from local shops, eateries, and of course, our favorite animal-related businesses.
