Meet our newest intake: ROSCOE!! This little guy will melt your heart! Roscoe is a 50 pound, 16 month old Blue English Shepherd / Pyrenees / Labradoodle Mix. He is great with children, dogs, cats, men & women! He loves everyone! Toddler age not recommended only because he’s a bounding bundle of joy who might knock them over. Roscoe loves to run! He gets a big smile on his face when running freely. His new family should have a fenced in yard so he may continue his love of running and playing!! UPDATE: BOOBOO & BAMBI : Some of you may already know Boo Boo and Bambi’s sad plight almost a year ago. Called to an abandoned home, these two were living off of dog biscuits fed to them by squatters. The home had no electricity and it was snowing out. These dogs were terrified. We retrieved them and brought them to Grateful. They needed quite a bit of medical attention which was funded by YOU, followers whose hearts were captured by their story. Both are doing very well. Bambi’s mama recently reported:

“Bambi is glued to me especially when I sit down. She has to be sitting on my lap and will stay there snoozing until I get up. She's somewhat fearful of people, noises (especially loud ones). She likes to hop on my chest put her paws on my shoulders and "lovingly" stare a me with her soulful eyes. So blessed to be sharing my life with her.”

Bambi’s mama was willing to take Boo Boo as well but Boo Boo wasn’t having it. She barked at the door for hours for me to come back. After a trial run of having them separated and finding they were just fine with no sadness for the other, we moved on having both dogs where they’re hearts wanted to be.

CONGRATULATIONS SUZY!! Our senior Suzy has been looking for a home for over a year! We love and appreciate Vickie Mcconnell because she fell in love with Suzy on Petfinder and knows Suzy’s faults and accepted her for all she is! Suzy took to Vickie right away and has a new friend, Buddy, the Boston Terrier! Have a great life, Suzy! We know you’re in good, loving hands!!

UPDATE: RASCAL!!! Who remembers Rascal? A gorgeous Cocker Cav who was VERY active! Too much for some people. We found the perfect home for him with Roger Wyatt Jr and he is living the sweet life! Roger owns a furniture store, sometimes you’ll find Rascal on the showroom floor! They’ve worked with him diligently and now he’s also taking trips to gorgeous places! Oh Rascal you sure deserved this. You’re a good boy! Thank you Roger!!

CONGRATULATIONS CORKY!!!!!! Sweet little Corky found a wonderful Mom & Dad today! He instantly curled up on Mama’s lap and really enjoyed the chin scratch Dad was giving him. In fact, he fell asleep on his hand! He will be an only child, and loved so much! Have a happy life, Corky!!!

UPDATE ON BYB PACK: They love other dogs! They are playing with my pack of Spirit, Lewie, Lucy & Gibson! The black and white, who has been named Moose by his pending adopter, LOVES SPIRIT! Chocolate lab and Moose allow me to pet them. The two black ones come close but still no touch! They are happy though, playing with my pack, so we got that!!

BACKYARD BREEDER RESCUE: Humbly asking for donations to assist in the care of not only these 3 pups we took in yesterday, we also took a retired chocolate lab and recently took sweet Corky from a BYB. They all need everything! Fixed, vaxed, chipped, Corky’s leg WILL need surgery, his knee cap keeps slipping, and we need a trainer to help with these terrified Bernese/Golden pups. Only 7 months old, they can be saved, but right now they are absolutely terrified. Trainers, donors? Adopters?

This is Louie Blue, he’s a 5 year old Siamese male. He LOVES water, especially from his cat fountain. He is overweight and can’t groom himself well but loves to be brushed. He stays to himself and would be a good only cat. He is vocal when he wants something which has contributed to him being over fed. He was a great companion but now his mother is in a nursing home he deserves a forever home that will love him just as much.

Meet Corky. He is our newest intake and not yet ready for adoption. He’s been used for breeding all his life and is unsocialized; very timid. He’s enjoying being petted. When I stop, he looks for my hand, wanting more! He will have a great spirit in no time! Once he’s neutered and displaying a happy existence, we will find him a perfect home! He’s only 7, a miniature Poodle with beautiful silver & cocoa markings. He was shaven down due to matting, but including a pic with longer growth before. Please follow along and watch him blossom. He’s absolutely adorable!
