Are you looking to adopt? Do any of these sweet souls look like a potential new family member?

We are short on fosters so we have a newer program called foster-to-adopt. What's that you ask? Well, you choose the pet you are interested in adopting, you then enter our foster program and when the animal gets vetted and is ready to finalize through our adoption program, you finalize your adoption and then end the program. If for some reason the animal ends up not being a fit, no worries our only ask is you continue to foster until adopted, around 3 weeks. You are welcome to stay on as a foster again until you find the perfect match.

All puppies are mixed breeds and only a DNA test can confirm what breed they are.

Please go to our website at MichelesRescue.com and fill out a FOSTER APPLICATION!!!! Click on “puppy foster” as interest and if your application is approved a foster coordinator will be in touch to discuss the next steps and answer all your questions. Be sure to note which pup you are interested if you have a specific one in mind.

Very sad story for you all but could have a happy ending!!! Let’s get this sweet boy a foster home and possibly a furever home fir Christmas!!! He is a sweetheart at 10 months old. He was kicked in the head as a younger pup which broke his jaw requiring surgery/wired shut. My name is Puddin. I am a three month old female mix pup that loves to play! My foster family lets me have tons of playtime with kids of all ages. I like other dogs but have not been introduced to cats yet (foster does not have cats). I know the command to sit and come. I am working on walking on a leash. I have a bad eye and I can’t see out of it but it does not hurt or slow me down. I am working on potty training and still have a few mistakes but getting better everyday. Meet Pinochle (pink collar) and Rummy (yellow collar)! These sisters are the best of friends and are currently staying at the Happy Cat Cafe waiting for their forever home. They are a little shy, but within a few minutes of them observing you, they will climb right in your lap for endless cuddles. Something we pride ourselves in here at Michele's Rescue is that we are 100% foster based. This means we do not have a shelter, we have VOLUNTEERS who volunteer their time, their home, and their LOVE to pets until they go their forever home! We provide all supplies & all vet care- No charge to Fosters.

We would love to be able to save all of the Animals and make sure they get to their forever home but we can’t without fosters! For every animal we take in we have to have 2 fosters- one foster to act as a backup for unforeseen circumstances. Having this in place helps us ensure that each animal has a home within our rescue until finding a forever home.

Do you want the company of a pet without the lifetime committment? Fostering is an awesome way to do this. Maybe not you but maybe you know someone who is interested ? Please share this with them.
