Update everyone! The two puppies have secured a foster. But, they will also need their forever home. They are both girls and are lab/hound/terrier mixes. Floppy ears and sweet as can be. But, their mom, Gigi, who protected them at the shelter needs her foster for us to take her. She is very human friendly, dog selective, and a survivor of a high-kill shelter where she was released with her puppies to be euthanized. And, as always, if you can't foster or adopt, please share and donate. The cost of saving the dogs is very expensive and without sufficient donations, we won't exist. Thank you! With over 100 crafters you are sure to find a gift for everyone on your list and maybe even something for yourself! All items at our booth are handmade by our volunteers and 100% of the proceeds go to help the dogs at our No Kill Shelter in Detroit.

We need donations immediately! We rescued Mr. Brown from a high kill shelter as he had a severely broken leg. The bill to Wilson's is $2,300.00 and needs to be paid immediately! He is a beautiful shepherd that would not be alive without us. The other vet wanted to just amputate the leg which we refused to do. But, we cannot do this without you. Happy Tongue out Tuesday!!!!!

Our handsome hunk of chocolate love Charlie sure loves to show off his tongue. He is a 5 year old Lab/Terrier mix who was found with 2 other dogs a few months ago in the backyard of an abandoned house without shelter or food. We were asked to take him into our rescue and without hesitation we said yes!! Charlie is such a sweetheart!!

He loves to play with balls, adores getting attention from humans and loves belly rubs. He really loves peanut butter bones and going for car rides. Charlie would love to find a home that will allow him to live his best life and be a treasured part of a family.

Just look at those beautiful brown soulful eyes. Bailey is looking for a wonderful, loving family to call her own. She is quite silly at times. She even dressed up as a bumble bee at our adoption event last Saturday!!

Bailey is a 1 year old Lab & Boxer mix. Bailey and her sister Harper were living in deplorable conditions until their previous owners surrendered them to our rescue. She is such a happy girl who has LOTS OF ENERGY!! She walks well on a leash and loves going for walks. She has been working on her basic commands. Ok with dogs after a proper introduction is done. Unknown how Bailey is with cats.

ATTENTION SENIOR LOVERS!!!!!

Gorgeous Looney is an 9 1/2 yr old Boxer mix who is such a SWEET girl!!! Looney loves belly rubs and giving kisses. Looney needs a quiet home without a lot of activity. She would make a wonderful COMPANION dog, not a family dog. Looney is ok with other dogs after a proper introduction. Unfortunately, we do not know how she is with cats. If you are looking for an older girl with experience to be your companion, Looney is your girl!!!

Trick or Treating starts in approx 1.5 hours. Please keep your pets safe and keep them away from the candy.
