Adoption update!

"Skye is so funny and wonderfully weird. She loves to snuggle, suckle on blankets, and be near or touching her human siblings as much as possible.

She’s probably the happiest dog I’ve ever known. We still have work to do on some obvious trauma from her previous life. Sometimes her fear results in undesirable behavior like barking or pulling on her leash but she has gained a lot of security in her time with our family.

She’s the sweetest. She’s so funny and Skye loves our children. We go fishing often in the summer so she’s a beach bum and a boat dog. She loves going out to my parent's farm and roaming free for the weekend that we are there!

She’s filled our hearts with love!"

Adoption update!

“Link is a very playful, loving, protective, ball of energy! He is super sweet and I could never have asked for a better best friend. My boyfriend and I got so lucky with him, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Link can jump very high, especially when he is excited. He loves belly rubs, he will lay on his back and wait for one if you approach him. He loves being around all animals. If I am home, he won’t leave my side. He is always there for me.

Link has become very good with the “sit” command. Link knows the “off and leave it” command. He has improved greatly with going on walks. He used to pull a lot when walking, and now he takes it easy.

I always wanted my own dog because I have grown up around dogs all my life. Link is a sweetheart and I love coming home to him after work every day.”

Adoption update!

“Jonah is a funny & loving dog. He is so great with our little girls, very gentle & snuggly. We love that he likes to play outside and go for walks with the family but is also perfectly content snuggling up on the couch. We just started working with an in-home dog trainer and are hoping he can learn some fun tricks!

We weren’t 100% set on getting a dog when we did our meet & greet, but the minute we met Jonah we were sold. He has allowed us to slow down and has showed us a new level of love that we didn’t know existed. Our girls are absolutely loving having him chase them around and our little one pets him the whole time she’s drinking her bottle! We have 2 beautiful daughters, but having a dog is still so different, he loves us unconditionally!!

Thank you Rescue Crew for allowing us the chance to be Jonah’s forever family!”

Adoption update!

“Sabrina is the momma cat. She keeps her younger rescued brother in check. When she isn't monitoring the household, she is usually sitting by the food cabinet awaiting her next meal because she tells me she is starving every 5 minutes! I love her meow. She does this when I talk to her, when I pick her up and when she wants food. She is so gentle and soft.

She has come a long way. She also is learning how to use the cat exercise wheel, but I believe she is just in it for the treats and figured out that if she just sits on it unprompted, it means a treat! She also is getting better at retrieving her fluff balls and giving them back when she wants another thrown!

Sabrina completed our family. She has an unpredictable personality but only in good ways. Surprising us with funny cute and smart things she knows all the time.”
