Hey, remember Thor? He is still looking for his forever home.
He needs a relatively quiet and consistent home. Another mature confident dog would help him a lot. Thor is a sweet, loving dog who LOVES to play. Thor will never be a dog that you can take to noisy events, dog parks, or super active areas, but he will show you unconditional love and entertain you for hours!

Tria has found forever!
From her adopters:
We adopted BB, formerly known as Tria, a beautiful tripod from Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue. She arrived at our home a few weeks ago and has been blossoming into an amazing, funny, and loving character.
She joined a home with an 8-year-old Olde English Bulldogge named Lou Lou and four kitties! We did not know if we were ready to add to the family after losing our beloved white Boxer, Pipp, last November to lymphoma. But after seeing BB’s face on RCBR’s Facebook page I just knew we had a calling to give this sweet girl a space in our home, lives, and hearts. BB had her first obedience class this week and did wonderfully. It’s truly amazing how resilient she is and how much love she has to give after such an unknown past. We are so grateful for her coming into our lives!

National Adopt A Senior Pet Month is celebrated during November! Please consider opening your heart to a senior animal, like Zane! Puppies and kittens are cute, but adopting a senior animal can be a life-changing experience for you and that pet. Not only are older pets often easier to handle, but they are at least just as loyal and loving as the younger ones.

From Foster to Forever! Tiara has been adopted!
Tiara' adoption story:
Oh boy. Well, originally I planned to go the foster-to-adopt route but as soon as she was in my house I knew Tiara was for me. She grew attached on the first night. She would not leave my side. The only thing I wish I could change is that I could have gotten her sooner. It has been less than a month but this girl is my best friend. I love her goofy personality and her silly faces. She loves to go for rides in the car (we were told she did not). She loves meeting people (we were told she did not). I was told she took a long time to trust. On our drive home from Iowa when I picked her up after her 10-hour road trip from Missouri, she fell asleep looking at me in the rearview mirror. Sadly because of the rough life she had in her younger years, she barely has any teeth but that does not stop her from enjoying her favorite bone. This little girl has, and will always have, my heart. As I am typing this, she is snoring on my lap.

Joe Boxer has been adopted!
From Joe's forever family:
We changed Joe’s name to Moe, and he has been the perfect addition! He is so sweet and loving and has been the perfect companion! He is so sleepy and snuggly and well-behaved. I could count the times I have heard him bark on one hand. I would not mind if he barked more but I appreciate his quietness! He loves to get right on my or my roommate's lap and give lots of big slobbery kisses! He does very well at the dog park and meeting new dogs one-on-one. He has also done great meeting new people. My roommate recently adopted a puppy and Moe has been so great with her! We are just obsessed with him! Thank you RCBR!

Congratulations on your adoption, Hatti! (FKA Etta Jae)
From Hatti's family:
I know this comes as no surprise to those who know us, but we had another failed attempt at fostering. We are keeping Miss Etta Jae. Like anyone thought we would actually be able to give her up! Hatti is what we are calling her and what she's been responding to. She's learning to trust us. She plays with Otis like a big sister should. Hatti is learning to sit and walk nicely on a leash. She's a counter surfer with much more bravery then Dasher, and a longer reach. This morning her paw was sore. She came and sat by me, put her paw on my lap with a look of "Ma I got an owie ". Hatti doesn't bother other animals, hardly barks unless telling Otis to come play and is learning to relax and cuddle. Thank you, Lucy Blake for sending me pics even though I told you I wanted to wait. You are a smart lady and know what’s right! She's helping heal our hearts along with Otis.

It's a match! Congratulations Chloe!
From Chloe's adopter:
My husband said, "Let's wait," after recently losing our third boxer in just 18 months.
Well ... I reached out to Stacy Burton and asked if there was a candidate that got along with everyone, and she did not hesitate!! Two days later this beautiful girl came into our lives, and we could not be happier.
As you can see, Chloe is adjusting fairly well. She is still apprehensive about the bathroom. We have never had a Boxer that did not want to help! She will not come to the lower-level family room but loves to ride in the car. She gets along great with Xavier, an RCBC rescue alum from a year ago.
I will do whatever it takes to see these two have the best life possible.
