Meet Lilli. She needs a foster so that lovemuttsrescue.org can get her spayed, & offer her for adoption. About six months old, active, cuddly, sweet. No one has claimed this stray. She loves to play fetch, nose basic commands, crate, housetrained. Has not done well with the other dogs in the foster home, but loves the kids, all people. She will be a great companion. We must get a foster by Tuesday please apply on the website or contact a representative of the rescue.
I hope the families will comment and put more pictures to identify which S puppy, new name, and mama because some look exactly like her
Shorty will be 2 in January, new name “Stormy”~9 puppies names on LMR FB. They turned 1 on Nov 15th. (Sunshine, sadly, died so young) We love the text updates-will do one more Instagram.
Tough week as we say “good-bye” but for Jody, a little hope: Hi Marli, we got some bad news at Jody's appt yesterday. It seems like in spite of the chemo Jody's tumor has gotten bigger, is severely compressing his kidneys. Almost not working, significantly impaired. The blood clot has gotten bigger. So all heartbreaking. There is a mention of a different kind of chemo that may possibly be able to be tolerated by his kidneys. Calling to learn if a viable option. Otherwise, now we just need to keep him comfortable for as long as we can. 🥺🥺 Ben and I are heartbroken. Jody is sleeping the day away. (Note: This couple contacted me to foster to help Jody through his treatments. Almost a year, their baby born. Jody loves the baby! They adopted Jody Last Saturday! Jody had been loved, adopted from Love Mutt Rescue as a puppy, but lived outside. I thought he had been neutered, when the owner died I discovered he needed that done ASAP. The cancer had had time to spread. May this be a warning to AnyWho question the need to neuter-but I am so appreciative that Jody has been loved, their house family this year now official !!)
Donut, daddy hamster, & his son He’s waiting for his new owner to name him. They come as a wonderful pair who are not going to reproduce. & our 3 puppies are crate trained & Working on leash, house manners. There’s a lot of Beagle in a little hound so we can’t promise how big when grown but 2 of them are very tiny! www.lovemuttsrescue.org to see all available, apply to adopt, donate and there is a link to foster though these do not need fosters!
I thought I posted the hamsters but here they are big and I didn’t find them on my Facebook posts “Donut” & his son and watch for updates on the needs for Miss Daisy who is awaiting surgery on Thursday., Mollis’s pics & more lovemuttsrescue.org
We are thinking about canceling our event Saturday. Thanksgiving has everybody busy. We have three adorable puppies that are beagle with a little bit of hound in their mix almost 3 months old. See them on our website. We need fosters for BO Who cannot be with an autistic child that might bother his paws indefinitely or at least through the holiday because he can’t go to Boarding while they’re full. & fosters the 22nd through the 30th for Alston & Lioforce (Lolo) Well Marlianne is in Michigan. See them all on www.lovemuttsrescue.org. Links to adopt, foster, donate along with all available. Contact any volunteer with the rescue or email if you have filled out these forms, lovemuttsrescue@gmail.com
Daisy was brought in & surrendered to Wake Animal Hospital an urgent care in Knightdale. She needs a ride today through Wednesday to points east in Wilson because she is going to have the right to be a repair on Thursday. Wake is doing the best they can to minimize our cost since we agreed to pay as her owners could not afford the surgery. In fact at eight months, 50 pounds, she’s been living on a chain outside without vaccines or heartworm prevention. She’s negative on heartworm’s, tick, fecal- We have a foster starting Saturday. We’re hopeful she can stay at the hospital after her surgery in Wilson but she may need a ride from Wilson to Raleigh on Saturday. We are a small rescue. We rely on our volunteers. I have my main volunteer in Cary who picks up all the stray animals that need a stopover place, delivers things for me because I am an hour & a half from Raleigh. Cary -I am posting a lot, we need a lot of help. The more people that help the less work for one. Please email lovemuttsrescue@gmail.com, contact a volunteer you know contact, fill out the volunteer link on our website www.lovemuttsrescue.org. We typically do not refund gas. Everything You do is tax deductible that way. We provide crates food etc. HELP. We were contacted when his dog was surrendered, injured needing very expensive surgery. Now we need your help, even donations on our website our text adoptable. We may be looking at over $5000 for this chocolate lab
Crazy combo of on our website needing adoptions. Donut , daddy, Baby hamster can be named by the new people. They got 2 from the shelter, told same sex but they had babies so they’re keeping the girls and father and son need to find a new home. Mollie, Sweet Beagle is very very shy at first but an amazing oh I have a wonderful post to put on an update later. www.lovemuttsrescue.org
We have one offer to help foster but not available until the weekend. This is going to be a long adventure, long enough for a break to heal. We’re hoping for surgery this week. If not she needs to be out of the hospital as she waits for the orthopedic surgeon. She needs a home that has very few steps. I’m sure she could spend most of her time in a very large crate, or as suggested may be a very small room, like a bathroom. We don’t have all the information because an orthopedic surgeon has not seen her yet. We’ve had other dogs who’ve had shattered pelvis is, so the back leg was compromised, and had no problem recovering. Please contact me at lovemuttsrescue@gmail.com or if you know my number please text me. Marlianne
DAISY needs careful FOSTER, possibly having her broken leg repaired on Tuesday. Chocolate lab, eight months old, 50 pounds. A foster would have first opportunity to adopt. Reminder to order calendars through tomorrow. LMRcalendar16@gmail.com only if u dont see ORDER info on FB. One of our most loved volunteers, retired, visited at our event, I put her to work! Toby, now buddy, from Kosovo,& Max, just adopted, got their Petsmart coupon books, $400 value. You may come this Saturday to our event at the Wake Forest Petsmart. 130-3. Lolo, a.k.a. Lioforce, she will be there as we are looking for her future home but a Thanksgiving week Foster will help give Marlianne A chance to visit family in Michigan. www.lovemuttsrescue.org to see all available, apply to foster or adopt or contact a volunteer you know.
