'Tis officially the season! The Baby is looking as cute as ever in her holiday sweater. Believe it or not, this sweater was not intended for a kitten. Can you guess what it first belonged to? Put your guesses in the comments!

Her name is Lola, but she is NOT a show girl! She's a southern lady who made her way to Nebraska after her time was up in a rural pound and she was scheduled to be euthanized. It took Lola all but 10 seconds to adjust in her foster home after sitting in a kennel for nearly 5 months. She is truly amazing.

In her foster home, Lola has shown she is potty trained, kennel trained, and she is learning basic commands. She gets along great with kids but we recommend kids 7+ simply due to her size and tendency to forget she weighs more than small children. She can be selective of female dogs but loves to play with the male dog in her foster home. Lola would love a family who will play with her in the yard and take her on walks! He is still young and fun but without all of that baby kitty nonsense. Slash has been around other cats and dogs and does great. Due to his chill demeanor, we imagine he'd do well with kids, too. The Baby is a kitten who lives up to her name every day. She loves to be carried around in your jacket. She'll nestle in your hair, kiss your cheek, and scream in your ear. She has us wrapped around her paw and while we were busy gawking at her cuteness, she somehow had a title changw and went from The Baby to The Boss of her foster home! 🙀

Two weeks ago, The Baby was living in a bush and ran to a human to help her. She was covered in thorns. At just 5 weeks old, we're happy this Brave girl took a chance on people. Now her life is forever changed💕

If you're looking for a new shadow, we recommend Louie! He will alway be right by your side. Louie has a fun personality and is the perfect balance of energy + playfulness and cuddly + affectionate. Originally a stray starving on the streets of Lincoln, Louie is now living life in his foster home. He is learning to adapt to other animals in his house and we think he would do well in a home with other cats. He is fostered with dogs and they're not his favorite, but he's getting used to them. We think he would do well as an only pet, too! He hasn't been fostered with children but due to his sweet and easy-going personality, we imagine he'd like them.
