We will keep trying to find Dolly and Otis their forever home. It’s really shocking to us how they are still up for adoption. People are always looking for the perfect dog and honestly these two are perfect. They are super friendly they are kid friendly they are housebroken they are polite they’re just a perfect addition to any family!! Another incredibly busy day here at NCR. We took in another two cats today, it’s just ripping our hearts out how many animals are out here right now that need placement. These two were the lucky ones today. We pulled Sandman off the emergency list today, and we also rescued this little friendly girl off the street. Skin and bones, someone must have dumped.. followed us to our car begging to come, how could we say no. 😭 welcome sweet and cuddly Tessa to NCR!! Sandman’s story is sad, family dumped him after they had to “move” Shameful!! He was in a home with kids other animals and they told the shelter that he’s super friendly. He ended up on the emergency list because he’s terrified. Anybody would be after you get dumped from the only family you knew. The family was moving and they couldn’t take him what horrible horrible people. Two new additions to NCR. Nymeria and Amira.. both rescued from a garage lot . Nymeria is super friendly and is Lyra’s mom whom we previously rescued. Finally we got momma!! 😻Amira appeared in same garage out of the blue 🤔one day and also very friendly but was not part of the “colony” so when garage closed the past owner felt so bad for leaving her there all alone and asked us to take.
