Maggie came into rescue with her sister Millie. The girls were surrendered to us by their owner who had back surgery and could no longer care for them. They had mostly been outside pups, but now they are enjoying the comforts of indoors.
We think Maggie is a Great Pyrenees mixed with maybe Hound and Anatolian Shepherd. Maggie is sweet and pretty independent. She enjoys being where you are, but isn’t needy and can keep herself occupied with a crinkle toy or two. Maggie isn’t a cuddler, but really likes being petted. Maggie is more shy than her sister, however she does well when meeting people and enjoys the attention. At home, Maggie is a big talker and is not shy about her bark! Maggie loves to wrestle and play with the all the dogs in her foster home and requires a canine friend to play with in her Furever home. She is also cat friendly. Maggie enjoys being outside especially if you are outside with her. She also likes playing in the hose and digging in the yard 🤪 When Maggie’s ready for some down time or a nap, her crate is her safe place and she chooses to lay in it. Maggie is treat motivated and will sit for treats. She’s doing great with house training and we are working on leash training. New noises still startle her so we are helping her to slowly get used to new sights and sounds.

Johnnie came to us with his four siblings from The Whisky litter. They were an unwanted litter from Missouri that needed rescue. We were told Dad was Great Pyr and mom was 100% mutt. Whatever the mix we can definitely see Pyr and they are 100% adorable!
Johnnie is very playful and loves harassing his foster siblings. He enjoys down time to chew on toys but has lots of puppy energy to play. He sticks close to his people and comes when he's called. He is doing great with potty training and is definitely food motivated. Once he gets over the initial excitement, he does pretty well on a leash. Johnnie loves car rides and sitting in the front seat. He's going to make an awesome addition to a family!

Star was surrendered to us with her sister Molly. Their owners were expecting a new baby and had children ages 2 and 4 in the home that were afraid of big, playful puppies.
Star is a 4 month old Great Pyrenees mix and she’s going to be a big girl at already 45 lbs! Although she’s on the shy side and more independent than her sister, she enjoys meeting adults and children and the attention she receives. Star loves playing with her sister and the resident Rottweiler. We have not seen her around cats. When outside in the backyard, Star likes to hunt for sticks and chase grasshoppers. She also likes to chase tennis balls but don’t expect her to fetch the ball! Her foster mom says her favorite treats are stuffed Kongs and pig ears. Star sits on command, is doing well with house training, and we are working on leash training.

Hank needs a foster!
Hank is a 1.5 year old love bug. His owners moved to a new home and now they don’t have a fence. Hank is running out onto the highway and we’re afraid he’s going to get hit by a car! Hank is dog and cat friendly and is great with older kids. He loves snuggling with his people and being outside. Hank has not been on a leash much, but owner says he doesn’t remember him pulling. Hank does resource guard food so needs to be fed separately. Hank is house trained, neutered and weighs 80-90 lbs.

Star was surrendered to us with her sister Molly. Their owners were expecting a new baby and had children ages 2 and 4 in the home that were afraid of big, playful puppies.
Star is a 4 month old Great Pyrenees mix and she’s going to be a big girl at already 45 lbs! Although she’s on the shy side and more independent than her sister, she enjoys meeting adults and children and the attention she receives. Star loves playing with her sister and the resident Rottweiler. We have not seen her around cats. When outside in the backyard, Star likes to hunt for sticks and chase grasshoppers. She also likes to chase tennis balls but don’t expect her to fetch the ball! Her foster mom says her favorite treats are stuffed Kongs and pig ears. Star sits on command, is doing well with house training, and we are working on leash training.

Star and her sister Molly will be adopted to separate homes. They are up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Our puppies are adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show proof at that time.

Molly is a friendly and outgoing 4 month old Great Pyrenees mix. She’s going to be a big girl at already 45 lbs! Molly is a very playful puppy who plays hard and then sleeps hard. She enjoys playing with other dogs, playing in the wading pool, and playing with toys. She will go in her crate for a treat but she prefers snuggles with her people and couch time. Molly is doing well with house training and we are working on leash training.

Millie came into rescue with her sister Maggie. The girls were surrendered to us by their owner who had back surgery and could no longer care for them. They had mostly been outside pups so they are learning about lots of new sights and sounds indoors.
We think Millie is a Great Pyrenees mixed with Hound and maybe some Great Dane. Millie is super sweet and pretty independent. She enjoys being where you are, but isn’t needy and can keep herself occupied. Millie isn’t a cuddler yet, but she really likes being petted. Even though she’s on the shy side, she does well when meeting people and enjoys the attention. Millie is braver than her sister and is the first to explore and check out new things. And she is not shy about her bark! Millie loves to wrestle and play with other pups and would love a canine friend to play with in her Furever home. She is also cat friendly. Millie enjoys being outside especially if you are outside with her. She also likes playing in the wading pool. When Millie's ready to relax or nap, her crate is her safe place and she chooses to lay in it. Millie will sit for treats and is doing well with house training and leash training.
