Our sister rescue organization, Al Rahmeh in Jordan needs your help as they are being evacuated from their current location and are being forced to relocate in such a short period of time.
They have been working tirelessly to make sure that dogs in Jordan have a safe haven from the streets. After being at their current location for the last four years, they were suddenly asked to relocate in a short period of time.
Over the years, hundreds of volunteers helped provide love, care and support to over 300 stray dogs. They need your help to clean and sterilize the place, prepare the kennels and move the dogs.
Stay tuned for an upcoming post this Black Friday to learn how you can support Al Rahmeh through Canaan Dog Alliance. Thank you.
Fara STILL needs your HELP! She is a tri-pod dog awaiting an additional operation to remove the rest of her calcified bone. Due to this diagnosis, she is no longer eligible for a prosthetic leg. Canaan Dog Alliance is still supporting Fara's recovery and her second chance at a happy and healthy life in the United States. Please help us help Fara by donating to her GoFundMe at our link in bio. All proceeds go directly towards Fara's operation.
Hi, Fara here with an update. Although I have managed to learn how to navigate the world using three legs, my weight is being distributed disproportionately on my three legs, which is causing me some joint discomfort. In addition, my nub is being irritated and becoming injured due to the contact it is making with my surroundings. My rescuers and foster family had me fitted for a prosthetic to help mitigate these issues, but due to how much the bone has calcified, my prosthetic is not fitting properly. I got a second opinion from a vet who recommended I undergo surgery to remove more of the bone which is estimated to cost $3000. It would me the world to both them and me if you could help them make my dreams come true. Any amount helps. If you cannot donate, please SHARE my story. Visit our link in bio to shop Fara's merchandise and to contribute to her GoFundMe.

Fara is a two-year-old dog that only has three legs. Her previous amputation led to the remaining bone in her leg to become calcified. With this diagnosis, she is no longer eligible for a prosthetic, and will require a cart in the future. Fara is still in need of more funds to cover the cost of her full leg amputation. Please consider sparing a few dollars to help Fara, or if you are unable to donate, please share her story. Visit our link in bio. Thank you.

Fara is a 2 year old dog originally from Jordan that, with the generous support of our donors, we were able to give her a second chance at life here in the United States. Fara is with her foster family currently and is in dire need of more support from you. She has a prosthetic leg but due to the calcified bone, it does not fit properly. It has been determined that she will need to undergo a complete amputation of the compromised leg. With this diagnosis, she will no longer be eligible for a prosthetic, but may be able to use a wheel cart in the future to become mobile once again. Please help Fara run free again with your invaluable support at our link in bio. Thank you.
We would like to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped support Paco by sharing his story and donating to his fund. We are sad to share that unfortunately Paco passed away this past weekend. He was diagnosed with distemper, a highly contagious viral disease that is incurable and often fatal, late last week and succumbed to the disease over the weekend. Paco lived in Jordan and was going to be moved to Canada as the CDC ban on dogs from international countries entering the United States is still in effect. We believe that if Paco was here in the States he would have had a stronger chance at fighting this disease. Please help us by continuing to support our mission of giving Canaan dogs a second chance at a happy and healthy life. Visit our link in bio or send us a direct message for more information.
Hi, Fara here, checking in. While I made it over to the United States for a second chance at a happy and healthy life, I am still in need of support from all the dog lovers and supporters of CDA. My friends at Canaan Dog Alliance have helped me so much, and I wouldn't be where I am today without their support. Currently, they are helping me raise funds for an operation I desperately need. After seeing two different veterinarians, both have concluded that due to how calcified the bone is and how inflamed the nub is that the best course of action would be to do a full amputation of the remainder of my leg. Sadly, this means I am no longer eligible for a prosthetic, but my foster family as well as CDA hope I will adjust well to using a wheel cart in the future once I’ve healed. Please help Canaan Dog Alliance raise funds to support me so I can run free again. For more information, please visit our link in bio.

Hello everyone! Paco here wishing you all a happy Monday. I was injured in a hit and run accident, which left me with a debilitating injury to my front paw. Please consider contributing a few dollars to cover my boarding fees. We simply cannot do it without you. You are my only chance. If you cannot contribute, please SHARE my story.
