Bunny is ready for a family with a huge heart and is ready for so much love in return. 💗
✅ Potty trained ✅ crate trained
✅ Loves other dogs must kiss them
✅ Loves all humans big and small.
✅ Loves life , love toys, loves walks, love belly rubs, loves cuddle time.
Yup she is ready!
Monday she has surgery to amputate her back leg. She should go home that day to her new family 🙏💖 they should be a part of her wonderful recovery! 🙏

This took a lot of teamwork today. A huge thank you to Jo Marie for all her help getting her out of the Animal Foundation today. 🥺🙏
And bringing her to meet Dr. K.
When we got there Bunny crawled right over to us.
Oh my goodness. She only wanted love. She wanted so much love. Looking at her mangled leg and road rash all over her this was so hard. She showed no pain only love.
Her leg is badly shattered in several places.
Did some bloodwork and more x-rays. We got some pain meds for her and after a long discussion with the vet we think we are going to do what is best for her - amputation.
She is so full of life and energy and love. It is truly once again a doggy showing us how to be strong.
This will most likely be done on Monday.
What we know about her is she needs a family. She absolutely adores other dogs - she must approach and kiss their faces. She wants to play.
Humans she must get belly rubs from every single person she meets.
She is 9-10 months old.
She is safely with an amazing Foster dad @954haas
We would like to see her go to a family shortly after her surgery.

There is so much in life that is bad so hang on to the good.
Everyone that was popping up in our news feed I was clicking to say Happy Thanksgiving.
I noticed in many of the News feeds instead of people saying Happy Thanksgiving people were being angry and leaving negative hateful comments that have nothing to do with a special day like today.
So I am also Thankful for the BLOCK button. 💗🤗 Every mean comment I took a second to hit block. I prefer to do my part to fix the world and not be a bully. Make difference y'all - bullying and hateful cyber comments isn't the way to make things better. 🤔🧐
Go spend time with shelter dogs, go give blankets to the homeless, inspire someone, tell someone you love them. I promise hatred gets you nowhere but makes you and those around you miserable.
Just Hug a dog they will show you the way. 🥰

Thanksgiving day this baby sits at The Animal Foundation.
Not for lack of effort - they are closed today.
Last night I saw a text asking if we could help Bunny.
Was multitasking dropping off Jasper and Sadie to their fosters. Interviewing families, arranging transport, trying to find fosters in LA and get all the permits done for the 12 flying in.
I forwarded the photo to 1 person and said we need as foster ASAP. Without hesitation he said "where do I go get her?"
"Whatever she needs" 😭
I am so Thankful once again for our RRLV family. 😭 To be able to count on people coming through. He made no mention of It's Thanksgiving weekend I can't. Instead "she doesn't belong in the shelter for Thanksgiving" 💗🐾
We will have her tomorrow and right now I want to say we are so Thankful for you @954haas
Tomorrow we will have #rrlv_bunny

She has a long road ahead of her. But a bright future now.
She will be available for adoption after we get her all fixed up.
