Holding a good thought for BRICE rescued from ACCT Philly with a fractured wing of the right ilium and possible hip displacement. Thanks to Quakertown vet hospital his wounds have been addressed. He is medicated and his tail may yet have to be amputated. He needs 6-8 weeks of crate rest and we have to monitor how his pelvis is going because if it starts to heel improperly, he will have to have surgery, all the while monitoring his tail. Feel better, baby boy! 🤞🏽🐾❤️‍🩹

😿Brice ACCT-A-103854
▪️Male, 1Y, 7.63 lbs. Brice is an young male community cat, apparently hit by a car. Upon examination, Brice was noted to have a suspected pelvic injury as indicated by bloody urine that is most commonly sustained from trauma. He requires additional diagnostics and care beyond the capacity of the shelter to determine the extent of his injuries, treatment options, and long term prognosis. Upon placement, Brice must go directly to a veterinarian for care.

Emergency Foster needed for ICEY. This Senior girl was dumped by her family at the Islip shelter and AmsterDog needs a temp foster to get her out.
