Does anyone recognize this girl? She was found on New Turnpike Rd in Town of Johnstown/Ephratah. She was brought to Harvey's and had a bath and 40 ticks removed. Please message us here or call the shelter at 518-725-5956 with info!
Murphy (now Obidiah, or Obi) wanted to stop by to tell us how great life is with his new mom and dad; but he’s exhausted from playing. His mom tells us he’s so sweet and loveable (but we already knew that!). We’re pretty sure he’s dreaming of his shelter friends finding their forever homes soon!
Do you remember Brindin? Well, he found the perfect family to adopt and now goes by Goose. Goose is living his best life with his new mom and dad and fur-brother Milo 🐾💜🐾
What?! Is that ANOTHER new adoptable?? Why yes. Yes it is. Say hello to Finn!
Finn is a young male purebred husky who is looking to add another member to his solo act of husky yodeling!
Finn is super sweet and could go into a home with another dog and/or kids but cats are unknown at this time. He has been doing well in a crate and may be housebroken.
As with almost all huskies we adopt out, prior experience with the breed is preferred. He would likely be more successful in a single family home versus an apartment and with a fenced yard to stretch his legs. The more active you are is also a plus. These dogs are not couch potatoes. So if you're more the Netflix and chill type, you need not apply.
So if you're looking for an active, happy go lucky, very fluffy puppy, please submit an application and we would be happy to have you audition for Finn's band! Our application is online at fcrspca.org/adopt 💜
As much as some of us want to ignore it- snow will be coming soon! And we still haven’t found someone to provide snow removal services necessary for us to care for the animals.
If you are interested in providing a quote, please contact Will@fcrspca.org for details!
This is a HUGE win for homeowners and dog lovers! We've had to miss out on adopting to wonderful families simply because their homeowners insurance breed discriminates. Unfortunately this does not apply to renter's insurance but we hope to have that changed in the near future!
More photos from yesterday's Identifying Animal Cruelty Workshop with a guest list of 80+ people, some traveling as much as 3.5 hrs away just to be there! The community's feedback has been all positive and we are already being asked "when is the next one?"!! We again thank Jonathan G. Schopf, Esq., Libby Post, Sheriff Richard Giardino, Deborah Komar, Inv. Jeff Fake and Det. Chris Zink for donating their time, knowledge and experience. Also thank you to Fulton Co AD Amanda Nellis for attending as a guest, but we put her to work answering lots of questions!
Do you fancy boys with a little extra fluff? Then you must meet Zeus 😍
Zeus is a giant Shepherd husky mix who is ready to sneak his fluffy butt into your heart and on to your couch.
Zeus will need a secure home and a secure fence. He is crate trained and housebroken. He could possibly live with another dog but he does not want to share his home with cats. He would also do better with older kids due to his size.
Is your home missing a big goofball? Go to our website fcrspca.org/adopt and submit that app! 💜
Meet our newest adoptable, Duke!
This guy is maybe 2 years old, we think a little bit boxer, a little bit hound but 100% adorable 💙
Duke will be officially dog tested in the near future and can also be cat tested. He seems to enjoy all humans and may be ok with kids of all ages.
Would you like to come meet Duke and see if he is the pup for you? Submit an application and we would be happy to arrange that 💜
How is our little Scooby Doo still without a home?
Scooby is a young beagle mix with a lot of energy but is happy to roll over and give you belly when asked 💜
Scooby requires a fully fenced yard as that hound nose is bound to get him in trouble. He may also do better as an only pet but might be ok with another similar energy small/medium sized dog. We are open to a meet and greet.
If Scooby looks like a fit for your home and lifestyle, please go to our website fcrspca.org/adopt and submit an application 💜
Meet cutie patootie Joey!
Joey is a petite terrier mix who is under a year old. Joey is crate trained but not yet housebroken so he will need a patient human to help him learn.
Joey is very active so if you are the type of person who prefers lounging around at home, Joey is not going to be the dog for you. This guy wants to be out and about running around and loving life and that means more than the confines of a house.
Joey can live with older kids who can run and play and he can live with another playful pup. Cats are unknown at this time.
If you're an active person, looking for an active pup, submit your application today at fcrspca.org/adopt 💜
Moe is the other adorable, adoptable pup in our PAWSitivity Program at Hale Creek!
Moe is about 8-9months old and an absolute dream 😍 He is excelling beautifully with his training and will make a wonderful addition to any home.
Moe will come crate trained, housebroken and neutered. He can live with another dog and kids of any age due to his gentle nature. He may be able to live with cats but we are unable to test him so we are airing on the side of caution and saying no cats at this time.
Does Moe sound like the dog of your dreams? Why are you waiting? Go to our website fcrspca.org/adopt and submit that app! 💜
