It’s finally time to break in our brand new transport van with its first transport! 🎉 We are hitting the road ❕THIS SATURDAY ❕ to drive down to Arkansas to help Humane society of the delta who currently has over 300+ dogs in the shelter. They are running out of space and are desperate for help. They need dogs out now.

They are seriously underfunded and trying to get by, simply pulling dogs to make space isn’t enough. We want to do more. ‼️These are just some of the faces of the dogs we WANT to save..

Our next life saving transport is scheduled for the end of this month and we are desperate for fosters. Shelters are full and begging us for help. The south is so hot and there’s no AC for these babies. Shelters are stuffed so full some have 500+. They are out of room and need our help!

You can tell us if you want to foster a puppy, adult, senior, a litter of puppies, or if you’re open to whoever needs saving. We pick the best match for your family. If you fall in love with your foster and they’re a good fit, you have the option to adopt your foster if they are not apart of our search the shelter program.

We can only save as many as we have open foster homes for. Fostering is a minimum of a two week commitment. We supply you with everything you need, you provide a safe loving place for them to stay while they get ready for adoption.

📣📣 PUPPY AGAINST ALL ODDS..

Remember our patriotic pup Atlas!? He came from an underfunded shelter in TN and got his freedom ride to NY on our last transport. He’s 13 weeks old, about 11lbs, and the most lovable pup around. 🥰

He’s all about that play hard, sleep hard kinda life. 🎾💤 He’s been known to nap on his back with his legs high as the sky and his head tilted in funny positions. When it’s time to settle in for a snooze he’ll look for his humans to snuggle with. His foster says everyone that meets him, LOVES him! He’s been a rockstar with crate and potty training and loves meeting anyone and everyone!

He’s your typical adorable bouncy pup but with one exception. Atlas has a mast cell tumor on his forehead. The vet is hopeful it is an isolated situation due to his puppy immune system. It is going to be removed during his neuter surgery and until then, he is taking Benadryl twice a day. Due to this Atlas has been often over looked and remains waiting for his forever pal.

Even with all of this Atlas has so much personality and loves everyone and everything. His foster says he is going to bring so much joy to his forever family.

Jekyll (Parvo puppy) update 💔

It is with a heavy heart that we must let you know our sweet Jekyll was unable to beat parvo and we made the difficult decision to let him go 😥 We did everything we could, his little body tried to fight it, but ultimately he did not make it. We are so grateful to his foster who showed him love and was by his side as he crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈

Jekyll’s sister Sierra is still fighting for her life at the emergency vet. She tested negative for parvo, but shows all the signs and symptoms so it is being treated as such. Her vet bills are adding up so fast, but we refuse to quit on this little girl!!

Sierra’s vet bill currently hovers between $5,700-$6,600 and will likely increase by about $1,500 to $2,000 in the next day or so. This does not include the $2,200 deposit we put down so the vet could begin treatment 😣We have posted a screen shot of the invoice in the comments.

We are begging, once again, for your help 😓 These vet bills are absolutely crippling and we can’t do this without you! If you’re not able to donate, please share the post!! 🐶

That’s the cost of not giving up on dogs that need a little more help with training. And that’s just in the last few months!! 📆

Some dogs we take into the rescue end up needing a little more guidance with how to “dog.” Some need confidence building, others need help with dog reactivity, some need help learning to trust humans again (can you blame them? Some of them have seen the worst in us hoomans!).

Bristol, shown in the photo below, was recently adopted and this would not have been possible without the amazing training sessions she received from Devan at Summit K9 Training! By donating, you’ll help dogs like her have a successful future as a family dog, the life they all deserve! 🐶

Part of our job as a rescue organization is to set all of our animals up for success and we are more than happy to do so! The training bills add up quickly though, and we could use some help 🙏🏼.

Due to skyrocketing vet bills we are temporarily unable to take in any more dogs or cats. We DESPERATELY need funds to help cover vet bills.

We haven’t had any cases of parvo from transports in over three years. Our luck ran out when poor Jekyll (black dog in photo) tested positive for parvo a few days ago. Despite having multiple rounds of vaccines and taking all possible precautions, sometimes our worst nightmares become a reality. Jekyll is currently fighting for his life and we’re doing everything we can to save him. We are so thankful to his foster for reporting her concerns early so we could get him into the vet ASAP.

On the low end, we owe $7,000 for Jeckyll. We have also spent $3,760 at Ridgemont Animal Hospital in the last 8 days on other sick cases that were not emergencies.

Jekyll’s sister Sierra (white dog) was showing symptoms as well, but was tested and is negative. She is sick, however and is at the emergency vet for treatment. We have put a $2,200 deposit down and are awaiting the rest of the invoice.

This doesn’t even scratch the surface for the thousands of dollars we spent on transport fees, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, combo tests, microchips. The list goes on and on 😣

Of course, each life is worth every penny! We are struggling right now and need your help more than ever before 💜🐶
