Remember our boy Jeff who was living on the streets of Queens a few months ago in pain and desperately needing a dental? Well we are happy to say that thanks to our amazing #furriends and their generous donations, he is now on the road to recovery. It has been a long road for Jeff, and he has spent most of his time at the shelter sleeping, likely due to the pain he was in. Well he is feeling better now and wants the world to see him and hear him #purr 😻 Jeff is a sweet 5 year old #handsomecat with gorgeous blue eyes that look right into your soul. We would love to see him go to a #foster home, where he can really flourish with love, and get himself ready for a #fureverhome He would be best as an only #cat and may hide initially, but he just needs a little patience and lots of love 💗 Are you interested in fostering Jeff? It’s time to let a little Jam (gray) and Jelly (white and Siamese color) sweeten up your life!
Bonded kitten brothers Jam and Jelly (or J and J, as their foster mom calls them) are playful, inquisitive, and super adorable—full of kitten sparkle and personality. They have a strong sense of love, play, and protection of one another.

Let’s Jam! This boy has a gray overcoat graced with white swirls and tabby leg stripes and he has a cream undercoat.

How about a cute little Jelly roll? Jelly’s the leader of the pack. His coat is of a Siamese variety, cream with a touch of brown coat, dark brown ears and tail. He likes to talk when he needs to, and his eyes are currently the lightest shade of blue.

Jam and Jelly were rescued when they were just tiny babies; they had been born in a back yard to a community cat who is now spayed and doing fine. Both boys have been vetted and are healthy and happy; they are still a little human shy, but Jelly loves to be pet and Jam only needs time to warm up.

With bonding and trust, toy time, treats, and gentle pets will have them climbing your legs in no time. Jelly is a fan of belly and head rubs and loves to be combed.

Jam is a little more cautious but easily persuadable. They're around 8 weeks old. These guys are lap cats in the making. They get along well with other cats. It is unknown if they are compatible with dogs.

COURTESY POST for Marina from Florida. She recently visited Brooklyn, NY and she says: Me and my mom spotted a cat (white and grey, about a year old, looks clean and well maintained) in Prospect Park close to the zoo on 10/11/21. It didn't look feral but it was scared when we tried to approach. Unfortunately, i m out of town now and my mom is not local to the area, just took the kids to the zoo that day.

I am looking for someone local to help trapping the cat. I am sure it belongs to someone and I don't think it will survive for long outdoors. My phone is (929) 427-1444. Please, let me know if you can help or if you know someone who can assist.
