It's been a long year and our fundraising has been almost non-existent due to covid. Two years of minimal fundraising is hard on a rescue especially because the dogs in need are coming into rescue in record numbers.

Meta will match donations up to the first $8 million and we would appreciate any donation you can make, every little bit helps even $5.

Kanga - We would really LOVE to get this sweet guy into a foster or forever home of his own as an only dog.

This fluffball is ~4 years old and 85 pounds of smart, well-trained Malamute. He thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter! He’s a loyal pup and would be a great companion. He also LOVES the snow, walks and car rides! He loves feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious.
He may need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow everywhere and give you kisses!

Dora, Flint and Zippo, a bonded senior sibling Malamute trio seeking a furever home together!

Dora is an 8 year old, 105 pound female Malamute with a beautiful sable coat. She is a sweetheart that loves attention and being brushed, will do tricks because she knows treats will follow and is just an all around super girl!

Flint is a 9 year old, 116 pound male Malamute with a beautiful red colored coat. He is very attentive, friendly and has a gentle demeanor. He is lovable and a cuddler. He is still quite active for a senior and loves to run around exploring and playing!

Zippo is a 9 year old, 133 pound male Malamute with a super sweet, friendly personality. He is curious about the world and quite vocal.

All three of them love stuffed squeaky toys and playing in the water. They are all very intelligent and know several basic commands but could use some basic house manners. They are a bonded trio and have been together since we were young. They need to get adopted together and will give any family that adopts them tons of love and licks!

Volunteers Needed.

It was a sad day today at our kennels near Puyallup, WA. There weren’t very many volunteers to help walk the malamutes or clean their kennels, so the few volunteers that were able to volunteer ran out of time to visit with all of the dogs. These are great dogs that have been failed by humans at some point and some of them have trust issues but they all deserve love and attention.

We understand that everyone is busy, but we would appreciate if you you could you revisit whatever reason got you volunteering in the first place because the dogs need you. They really need you. We can’t get them ready to be adopted without your help, even if all you do is walk the dogs. That is a huge help to the dogs, their socialization and getting them ready for their forever homes.

Are you looking for an adorable hiking partner? Look no further!
Haku is ready to hike and is an old pro at heart. He went on his first big hike yesterday 4.8 miles/450 feet gain up to green water lake and did great! He was energized throughout the hike, but not pulling or being over excited. He’s very athletic and easily able to jump over logs and other obstacles on the trail. He and his hiking partner saw one other person and he barely noticed them and just kept going, no other dog sightings. I think he absolutely loved hiking and could gradually go a little further.

Haku seemed very caring of his hiking partner and was constantly turning around to “check on her” during the hike and get pets. He loves his cuddles and loves the sweet talk. He is going to make a perfect companion!
