AARF rescues dogs primarily throughout the state of Alaska, focusing mainly on the rural and bush areas of the state. We do not maintain a facility of our own. All our animals are housed either within our broad network of foster homes or boarding kennels when needed. We partner with local bush residents or other rescues, such as Bethel Friends Of Canines, to get the animals shipped in for a better life.
