Daphne just "celebrated" her two-year anniversary with her foster family. It's been quite a while so she thought she would re-introduce herself to everyone.

She was born and spent the first 12 weeks of her life on a Harrisburg city street with her two siblings. Her mom was the very best momma ever and kept them safe the whole time, even when the shed they lived in was boarded up to keep them out. Sadly, she passed away shortly after rescue. Since then, Daphne has been on her search for her forever place in this world.

Daphne enjoys the more laid back and relaxed way of life. She loves laying on the recliner for hours and isn't one to cause mischief or get into trouble. She would prefer a home without small children so she can continue to live the easy-going life she has come to love the past two years, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friend. Being held isn't really her cup of tea, but she loves to be petted and will walk around your feet making this adorable little squeak, while arching her back, looking for love. She lives with other cats and would do fine with a feline friend, preferably a laid-back male, to pal around with once given the time to know him. She also seems to enjoy the senior dog in her home and would do well with a friendly and laid-back canine pal. In her spare time, she enjoys laser chasing and bird watching. She would love to celebrate the next year in a new home of her very own.

Ghost (ID#21121) is a very playful kitten, and she loves toys that make noise like bell balls. She isn’t a fan of being held, and will be affectionate on her own terms. As she gets older, she's getting more cuddly and sweet!

Mason was found in a parking lot belonging to a trucking company in Carlisle. He was so happy to see someone, he jumped into their car thinking he was going home with them. Mason was named after the brand of the paper box he spent his first day and he seems to love boxes even more than normal.

Once Mason warms up to you, he will be around you all the time wanting attention. He loves to play with his toys and enjoys laser toys. He loves being petted and even more when offering a treat! Mason gets along with other cats, dogs, and also large and small humans. He would do great as a single cat or as part of a group of other pets but being adopted with his foster sister Misty would make for a great outcome. He is waiting for his forever home.

This adorable little ball of fun is RJ. He may look familiar, like one of our other wonderful feline foster friends. He very strongly resembles his namesake and relative, Roger, in both looks and personality. RJ is a social and super friendly guy who is ready to start the search for his furever home. Tyger and his sister, Lilly, were found abandoned under a deck in a dirty feral colony left to fend for themselves as kittens. Because these precious siblings had no one to care for them, they leaned on each other for support until they were rescued by Furry Friends Network. They were adopted into a loving home, but their family has had a lot of changes recently and is moving across the country. They feel Tyger and Lilly would do best in a more stable environment.

Paisley has grown so much since coming to us. Obedience is something she really loves to do. She is getting more freedom as she exhibits recall and quick obedience. I no longer worry about the door being open as she has learned to be patient and sits at the door until given the “ok good girl”. She’s overcome her car sickness, and had a stellar three day road trip to SD with us! She has also graduated from doggie obedience school, and has learned to taper her leash reactivity a good bit.

Paisley is still super excited when coming across a dog on a leash, but has no aggression and plays happily with all dogs (including my mother’s Maltese).

The children love her soo much. It is hitting my oldest that dogs are a lot of work; as he is sharing some responsibilities. Today he told me that he’s making sure to cuddle her in the mornings, because he was concerned she might be getting jealous with all the attention he is giving my mom’s Maltese while we are visiting.

Meet Toby, a two year old adorable beagle mix who entered our rescue approx 4 months ago. Toby arrived quite emaciated, very nervous and frightened. He clearly received little time or attention from whoever owned him. Yet in spite of his neglect, Toby’s ability to make progress in such a short time leaves his fosters amazed and proud of him.

From the day Toby stepped into his foster home, he never had an accident. He paid close attention to his four legged foster siblings, and quickly learned how to be his true self. Toby had to know his life was about to change for the better, and he wasn’t about to mess up his chances.

Now, Toby is ready to find his own family. He has become very comfortable in his own skin, loves people and wants to meet other dogs when out for long walks or hikes. He loves to run, romp and play, go trailing/hiking, for long walks and enjoys the company of friends and visitors.

Toby will let his family know if someone is approaching the house, and bark with excitement to welcome guests, but he is not a big barker. He is extremely loving, smart, friendly, curious and makes a great snuggling buddy.

This little bundle of pure joy has learned basic commands like sit, stay and come, loves sitting on your lap, going on adventures, and playing silly games. He makes his fosters laugh and smile all the time. And frankly, they find him to be just perfect in every way.

Toby has not been around infants or small children while in foster care, but his fosters are confident he would do fine in a home with children older than pre-schoolers. He can run fast, so a home where children know to be careful around entry/exit doors may be best. We do not know if Toby is good with cats, but he can be tested for that of there’s a cat owner/adopter interested.

Hi! My name is Marvin (ID#21091). My foster mom calls me Marvin the moo cow cat because I am white with black spots like a cow. She is silly! I LOVE to be with people and to snuggle. Right now, I get to snuggle with my siblings - Annie, Mollie, Nellie, Marlin, Noah, and Liam. I would love to be adopted with one of them so we could snuggle with you. I love plastic toy straws and will run around growling when I have one of them in my mouth. But really, I haven't met a toy yet that I have not loved to play with. Melvin (ID#21090) is a VERY affectionate boy who loves to snuggle with his foster mom and his siblings, Marvin, Noah, Liam, Annie, Mollie and Nellie. He and Marvin have a very strong bond and would love to be adopted together. Did you see his cute little soul patch on his chin? His foster mom likes to give him kisses on his soul patch. Maybe you would like to also? This entire litter is very social. They were born in a volunteer's home to a feral mom and have been socialized since they were 3 weeks old. Their favorite past time is chasing one another and kitten wrestling. Melvin also likes any kind of toy with a feather and he will get it in his mouth and run around growling trying to keep it from his litter mates. Nutmeg (ID#20202) is an inquisitive and playful kitty. Her favorite toys are hair bands and cat wands. Nutmeg loves scratching and knows only to do so on her post. Nutmeg needs a family that will play with her often. She is incredibly talkative and is occasionally affectionate on her own terms. Her favorite shows of love are head scratches, nose bops, and kisses. She is working on learning how to show affection appropriately, and often play bites. However, she is a quick learner and is incredibly motivated by treats. During the day, you can find Nutmeg people watching through the window.
