Yesterday we asked for some help in finding our new pal, Lady Blue a foster home. And today, we share with you her story. 🥰

Lady Blue came to us recently from living in a situation where she was kept outside in a crate in the cold, so Streetdog decided to step in to help this sweet girl. There was a time when she was living inside with the family, so she is housebroken and crate trained. She also knows basic commands and has been around young children and other dogs. She is kid-, dog-, and likely cat-friendly. 👍🏽 Understandably, she is a little shy at first since her life has changed significantly in the last few weeks, but we think she will grow out of that once she is in a home.
Lady Blue is a medium-large size blue pittie mix. She is currently 62 lbs but 65-70 would be her ideal weight. Because she lived with her former family from the time she was a baby, we know that she is 2 years old. She recently received all vaccinations and is on preventative medications. Luckily, she was heartworm negative! She will be spayed soon and is ready for a foster or forever home! We don't want Lady Blue to spend the holidays in boarding, so please consider fostering her! This goober was rescued off the streets by some kind strangers, and he quickly adjusted to all the luxuries that family life brings (scratches! treats! comfy beds and snuggles!). JOCELYN’S FOSTERS ARE MOVING! And we are looking for new fabulous humans to foster her. 💜💛
When we rescued Jocelyn, the people in her neighborhood told us that she had been abandoned by her family as a small pup. She lived many years on her own, giving birth to multiple litters including the #sdfOhSchittsCreekSurprisePups - Mutt, Ted, and Rosebud. While her puppies have all been adopted, she has waited patiently for her family to come along. She has adjusted splendidly to living in a home; but, her foster family is moving soon and she will need a new place to live soon. Jocelyn is low-energy and loves to cozy up on the couch or her favorite dog bed. She is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and would be great with dog-savvy kids. She is about 8 years old and just over 50 lbs. NEWBIE ALERT: SUMMER
This adorable ray of sunshine is our newest streetdog pup, Summer. While her previous life was anything but warm and loving, she is safe now and ready for her forever family! When Summer was rescued a few months ago, her injuries were consistent with being used as a bait dog. She has been recovering at Grace Animal Hospital under the care of Dr. Williams and we are happy to report that the scars of her previous life have healed, and she is ready to find a wonderful home to call her own.
Summer is a mixed breed pup, about 50 lbs with a beautiful brindle coat. She is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, has been spayed, and is heartworm negative. She is a sweet girl that is friendly with all people, dogs, and even cats! She has been attending daycare, and is doing very well! She likes walking on a leash and is a fantastic walk buddy.
