In the spirit of transparency, we have more disappointing news coming from the same kitten foster's home where a brawl broke out a few days ago. We decided to share the news brief here first, before you heard it from outside sources. Unfortunately arrests were made this time, so it is in the hands of the Paw Enforcement Officials now. Below are the shameful mugshots of the two purrpetrators.

NEWS BRIEF: WILSON COUNTY PAWLEECE DEPT.
Arrests were made this evening at the home of a foster parent in Lebanon, TN, who had taken in a mama kitty and her 5 babies. This is the same house where the PEA had broken up a serious tussle between the 5 babies just days prior. This time, the fight was between two females, both from different litters. The newest litter to arrive at the house were orphans, and they are believed to be members of a clan called the Socks. The litter that currently resides there are members of a clan called the Mousers. These clans are very much enemies, so the pawleece that arrived on scene were not surprised that there was a skirmish. Two arrests were made, both female, one going by the name of "Pixel" and the other "Shrillby", both believed to be their street names. Pixel was incoherent when pawleece arrived, and reeked of milk. She had accused Shrillby of cat burglary, who had been acting very shifty. The two had clearly pulled their claws out on each other, as both were extremely disheveled looking. When pawleece arrived, Pixel resisted arrest yelling "Rumble tomorrow Socks - you guys will pay!" Bail was set at 10,000 Temptation treats, which surprisingly was paid by their foster mom. A hearing is set next week, and even though they are minors, it is believed they might be tried as adults. The rumored rumble between the two litters is believed to be a made-up hoax, but pawleece are heavily patrolling the area, just in case.

Hi, this is Amy Simcik, Executive Director of True Rescue. Hurricane Sally is still continuing to pummel the Panhandle, which is near and dear to my heart as Pensacola is where my family is from and where I spent every summer of my life. My mom lives there now. This video of Rob Marciano is on Main St. in downtown Pensacola which is now underwater. My mom's house has suffered damage, as well as two very dear rescues to me that had to evacuate animals and are now underwater. Disaster response is a huge part of why I started True Rescue - rescues helping rescues is part of our mission statement. We will always step up in times of disaster and help however we can.

So we are getting a team together and heading there to help with cleanup, deliver supplies, and transporting animals. We need your help! Once again, we will be collecting animal supplies to take down there. We will post soon about where to drop items off, and will get even more specific, but the current needs are tarps, wet and dry cat/dog food, dog and cat carriers and chicken feed. If you would rather donate monetarily, please send donations to truerescue.org/donate and make sure you comment that donations are to go towards hurricane relief. You can also purchase e-gift cards from Petsmart or Chewy and have them sent to our email at admin@truerescue.org, and we will purchase items on your behalf to take with us.

We are a small but mighty-growing group, and 100% of any proceeds we receive for disaster efforts will go directly towards that effort. Thank you for your support!

We’ve experienced loss today that truly stops us in our tracks....and the only way to get through that loss, is to be in moment and let yourself feel the pain.
