Meet Biggie. The name fits him perfectly. This boy has a BIG personality, lots of energy and he loves to run and play. Biggie has been a long term resident here at the Irving Animal Services, waiting for his forever home for almost 3 months. Come by and meet this big goofball during Clear the Shelters!

Who can resist this big smile? Christy loves hanging out and playing with people and other pups. It’s impossible not to smile right along with her. Join us during Clear the Shelters to bring the smiles home!

Our vet staff want you to meet Felix. He was a bit of a mess when he got here, but we got him all fixed up. He’s a ridiculously friendly guy and he loves a good back scratch. He’s FIV positive and we will gladly answer any questions about that. Just come meet him!

Delilah is… well, she’s a little hard to get to know. She takes her time getting comfortable with people and she isn’t very fond of other animals. She’s been with us for about 4 months and has gotten used to the routine around here, but she would rather be in a nice, quiet home. If you are willing to work at winning her over, she comes out of her shell and is a playful and energetic pup.

Christmas has come early this year! Adopt a pet during Clear the Shelters! Adoption fees are waived at Irving Animal Services September 14th through the 18th. Come by and meet awesome animals like this little piggy Bloom!

Thank you to everyone who donates to our Animal Assistance Fund! Because of your generosity, we were able to purchase a digital table for our x-ray machine. Pets like Apepi will now receive the critical care they need much faster. Apepi was picked up by one of our Animal Services Officers with his back leg stuck in a wooden fence. We were able to determine very quickly that his leg is not broken. No more waiting for processing – we have x-rays in about 7 seconds!
