This photo may be cute, but the reality for the 492 animals currently in our care as of this morning is not as cute. We have 324 dogs and 168 cats that need new, loving homes. NOW is the time to come adopt or foster. We are now doubling and even tripling up dogs in the kennels. We can only help our pets with YOUR help.

To foster for even for a short amount of time, email foster@phs.hctx.net. We need foster homes for young kittens and larger dogs. We will provide supplies and show you how easy it can be to open your home to a new foster pet.

To donate: https://www.countypets.com/donate We always need food, supplies and monetary donations. You can also drop off donations to our location (612 Canino Rd. 77076) anytime during business hours. You do not need an appointment to drop off donations.

Please share this as a public post so we can reach as many people as possible. Without community support, the fate of the animals in our care is uncertain. Please also spay or neuter your pets so we can start to reduce the amount of unwanted animals in our county.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! We have lots of great volunteering opportunities - dog walking, cat enrichment, spay/neuter events, laundry, cleaning, adoption counseling, taking photos and more! Kitten season seems to never end! We could use the PATE' variety of cat or kitten food. We have some on our Amazon Wish List or any pate cat/kitten food will work! You can drop off any donations during business hours without an appointment. Thank you!
