October brings crisp, cool nights and Halloween frights, for sweet Olivia, some frights are just still too scary🕷

5 month old Olivia with her sisters Ophelia and Olympia have had a rough start in life. After being dumped in a field in rural Texas, they watched as their mother and a sibling were hit by a truck and killed instantly. Alone and scared, these orphans were taken in by concerned neighbors who contacted GPRS to rescue them🐺

This sweet girl is incredibly resilient but also very shy. She is slowly coming out of her shell but she will need a confident and patient leader as well as a friendly older resident dog to show her that everything is gonna be ok🦇

Ghastly Greetings from our Sweet Southern GentlePyr Jingo. GPRS volunteers rescued Jingo from a Texas animal shelter after he was found as a stray in a country field🕷

Jingo is house & crate trained. He is friendly meeting people and gets along with dogs and kids. He will benefit from a daily walk (not too long) and a fenced yard to play in with a semi active canine friend🐺

He has a slight hip dysplasia, a condition which can be managed with some life style modifications; weight control, limited exercise, joint supplements and maybe physical therapy as he gets older🦇

Jingo is an affectionate, intelligent guy that wants to please you. He would make a wonderful family companion. If you have room in your home & heart for Jingo, please complete an application. This GentlePyr would like to find a home in Texas to limit his transport travel time🕷

We still desperately in need of more fosters! Specifically the Houston Metro area.

The single most important thing you can do for any rescue is foster a homeless pet. We can only save the lives of these beautiful, majestic dogs if we have a temporary home to place them in while we find them their permanent home.

Kendrick believes in the magic of Halloween and is hoping he can cast a spell on you with his dashing good looks and charming disposition🕷

When first meeting new people he may be a bit timid but warms up quickly and is friendly as can be. Kendrick is house trained, crate trained and has had some basic training. He knows sit and lay down. Continued socialization, training sessions and a strong confident leader in the family that can provide firm but loving boundaries will benefit Kendrick🐺
