Today we wanted to highlight the importance of volunteers.

Did you know that RSQ is run 100% by a team of volunteers? We have zero paid employees and the work we do is truly a labor of love.

We have approx 70 active volunteers who take turns working morning and evening shifts to care for over 100 animals at our adoption center. We have volunteers from age 18- 88.
From all different backgrounds and walks of life. And everyone brings different ideas and experience to the table.

Meet Larry!

Larry is 86 years young and he volunteers his time to sit with the cats and give them love and attention. He also loves to take pictures of the cats and he ALWAYS dresses in his finest Cat shirts for the occasion. 😃

We are grateful for the hundreds of hours per week that our amazing volunteers put in every week to care for our animals. If you are interested in joining our volunteer team, please fill out a volunteer application through our website.

We Welcomed a new Arrival just in time for Thanksgiving. Welcome Beau!

Beau came to us with an “old” injury to his face and eye. He was attacked by a dog over 2 weeks ago. And since he did not receive medical care at the time, he now has a pretty bad infection. And he will likely lose his eye.

Beau is a senior and will be looking for his perfect forever home as soon as we get him healed up and fully vetted. He is a love bug.

Today for our Giving Tuesday Fundraising challenge, we are raising funds for Beau’s medical care. All donations over $5 will be entered to win big raffle prizes.

Max Update!!!

We want to say Thank you to all of you who sent a donation for Max to have surgery! He is thriving in his foster home.

Max is a 4 month old puppy who came to us with a badly broken leg. Due to how old the injury was and the severity of it, he ended up needing amputation surgery. Max went to a wonderful foster home to recover, and he is doing fantastic! He will need several weeks of recovery time, but things are looking up for our friend Max.

Thank you for donating toward his surgery. We are grateful. ❤️🐾🙏🏻
