We are working overtime to find foster homes for two separate sets of bonded dogs. Both of which have lost their owners to failing health.

As you know, our hands are tied without a committed, approved foster home to give these sweeties a soft spot to land. #fosteringsaveslives

In the first pic, we have Rico (left) a 7 yo Havanese bonded to Riley (right) a 10 yo Cavachon. We are told they have pleasant temperaments with a touch of anxiety and Riley is on meds for pancreatitis.
.
In the second pic we have Buddy and Molly whose owner recently passed. They’re staying with family members who cannot keep them. We are told they are sweet and in good health as well.
.
We’re looking for two separate foster homes for these deserving doggos and we ask for a minimum of a 30-day commitment. Symbiotic pays all expenses we ask only ask that you follow our guidelines for feeding and day-to-day care and provide assistance with transport to and from vet visits. #fosteradog

We also have 6 yo Shihtzu with a chronic heart issue that we are looking for a foster home for, but we do not have a picture. 😔And we’re still hoping for a home for the holidays for our baby girl Roxy who’s owners recently returned after a year and a half with her. She deserves so much more. Foster or adopter needed for her. #dogsdeservebetter

Aegean has left the building!! #adopted

He left on Friday and headed down to OBX with his brand new mommy and daddy, who already love him SO much!!
.
When Brenda first reached out to us, she had very specific ideas about the kind of kitten they wanted to adopt. First and foremost, it should be CUDDLY. Beyond that, they wanted a boy kitten who would mesh well with their existing cat and, not a deal breaker, but their preference was for a fluffy kitten. 🐈 She and her husband met a few of our adoptable babies, but sparks did not fly until they met Aegean. ⚡️#purrfect

These are the scenarios in which foster-based rescues like ours are the best choice for an adopter. Unlike a shelter environment, we have intimate knowledge of each animal in our foster care and can ‘match make’ the adopter with an animal who’s personality fits their criteria. We live for this stuff y’all!! #gotheextramile

Rescued from the cold hard streets where he was nearly run over while laying in the middle of the road, Gingko is the coolest, friendliest cat EVER! He is stone cold deaf, which is why outside is NO PLACE for the likes of him! Hehas the plushest, most gorgeous snow white fur and the cherry on top of his dashing good looks are his two, distinctly different colored eyes; one ice blue, the other deep gold, hence his name! #gingkotree 🍂

As you can see, Gingko is a real cool customer and has gotten along famously with nearly every dog and cat we’ve introduced him too. We think he’s make a great addition to just about any family! #deafcatsrock

Guess who just got adopted by her foster family….😲😲😲

It was just 4 short weeks ago that this sweet little raga muffin pup found herself in a real pickle. Scared, filthy, tick infested and alone under someone’s shed in rural VA, Acorn wound up at animal control and needed a hero fast. #dogsdeservebetter

Pre-approved adopter, Christina, offered to foster and the rest is literally history. Acorn was home the minute she met Christina and we’re over the moon for this perfect match! #fosteradogsavealife
