Winter has arrived in the PNW❄ We know that you all need a snuggle buddy for those cold winter days and we have the perfect one for you! Miss Colby🥰

Colby is an an older gal, about 8 years old, who enjoys snuggling with her hoomans and taking walks! When she goes to the park or on a hike with her foster brothers she starts to feel extra spunky! She loves to run free and roll in the grass!

Colby is a very smart girl who loves to please for treats and also loves being a part of her pack. She is truth worthy with her recall, going on numerous hikes and walks in fenced in areas with her foster family!

Crate time is important for Colby when she needs a place to rest and decompress. She like to be in my crate when her hoomans have to be out or away at work. When her hoomans are home though, she want to be right by your side and snuggle with fluffy blankets!

She takes some time to warm up to new dogs, but with proper introductions and space, she loves becoming one of the pack. Once she feels safe with new friends she loves to snuggle them and tries to keep up and play!

She would love someone who is eager to exercise her even though she's older, and work on further training when meeting new animals. She can sometimes be protective of her hoomans when she isn't getting all of the attention. She loves all hoomans though especially kids! All this girl wants is all the pets and cuddles!

You have been seeing our sad, but very real posts about the situation in the Houston area and that we need more fosters to begin helping again.
You may be asking, if we are so close to the 30 open foster homes, why not just open for intake with fewer fosters?

Here’s the deal:
While fosters have been difficult to find in Spokane, they are MUCH harder to find in Houston, especially for longer than a couple weeks. Booking a 'dirty' van where the dogs have only the bare minimum requirements to travel allows us to drastically minimize the foster time in Texas. In order to run a 'dirty' van, we have to book the ENTIRE van. This costs $3,500 whether we have 2 dogs or 25 dogs. Thus, the best use of our financial resources is to fill the van and thus the requirement for 30 foster places before we open.

So who’s in?! Help us fill our 30 foster spots so we can fill a van to get those poor pups the hell out of Houston! Apply today! ⬇️

Mr. Zeus is still looking for his perfect home!🙌

This dude is about a year old and is an 80lb mix breed (🤷‍♀️ whatever the mix is made for a cutie!!). You would never guess that Zeus had a horrible past in Houston. He is the sweetest, playful, and most loyal dog you’ll ever meet!

Zeus loves zooming around with his foster sisters and snuggling his humans in bed. He’s the complete package! He is great with other dogs and kids, and completely housetrained!

✨Bonus his foster family says he LOVES a good roadtrip, who needs a new trip buddy!?!
