Transport needed for this bundle of homeless love from Tucson to Hereford ASAP.

I am grateful to everyone that has contributed to Cannoli’s care. He has been a gift and I am not sure why I am so drawn to him but I just wish that I could have more time with him. He saw Dr. Riensche in internal medicine and Dr. Church in cardiology last Friday. The echo showed us that his heart has a significant amount of scarring due to chronic valley fever which is irreversible and we were given 3 to 6 months on a treatment protocol. Cannoli has been doing wonderful, he gained three pounds and has even been feeling well enough to grumble when anyone even looked at his food 😊 To be honest I was hoping that maybe once we get his valley fever under control his heart would be able to relax and he would live just a little bit longer but a couple of hours ago reality slapped me right out of lala land. He is not well this evening ……

Miss Kira(on the left) was brought to us after being found with a broken leg. Her rehabilitation took longer than most do but she’s walking so well now! Her new adopters are familiar with human rehab and are so excited about making sure Kiras leg is well cared for in the future. Happy life Kira!
