This #GivingTuesday we spotlight pets like sweet Daisy. She did not have such an easy start at life ... but somehow she never let that damper her amazing spirit! She knew when one door thankfully closed, because of YOU, another door opened that allowed Paws Crossed to welcome her with open arms!

From Daisy's family: "Daisy’s one week adoption today 🐾 I have to say, rescuing Daisy was a little scary at first, I thought it was gonna be super stressful to adjust since we currently have a 2 year old. After one day, I never looked back. I am so glad she was with us in time for my birthday. We are beyond happy with our family being so complete since getting our girl.... I knew I had to give her the life of her full potential, we got her on a healthy weight plan and take her on all our hikes so she can do the things she loves best. Not to mention how amazing she is with my son. She definitely stole our hearts, thank you PCAR for our girl Daisy" .... ♥️s are singing!!!! 💗

We knew there was something dazzling about this big boy, KB, when he arrived at Paws Crossed! It wasn't just his glorious, fuzzy, larger than life body and personality 😄 It was his desire to be close and to share a touch. And, oh boy, when the purring started you couldn't help but smile!

Today is #MushyMondayMonday . Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday!

It is the purrrrrfect time to share the tale of strong, resilient, funny Vegas and the life-saving difference you made in one itty bitty kitty’s world.

The story begins with a good Samaritan who was walking home near the Yonkers Casino. Upon reaching the top stair of the overpass, she saw 2 big eyes staring out at her. Who could turn their back on a kitty so young, so little and so alone? She plucked Vegas from her horrible hiding space and this fortunate kitty made her way to the wonderful folks at Strong Paws Rescue. While they could not commit to Vegas, they did commit to her safety, a health visit and road to a forever home. They reached out to Paws Crossed and we were thrilled to be a part of this small miracle. Rescue sure does take a family!!!

Thanks to your continuous support, Vegas had the many weeks she needed of getting stronger and bigger and more confident before soon finding her forever mom. We get to see the most awesome ALUM videos weekly of this rambunctious little girl growing up! ♥️

#GivingTuesday is only 2 days away! When you wonder where your support goes ... THIS ... this beautiful face is what your gift will look like in action ...

Please meet ABU. Picture #1 was our first glance at this precious soul. It did not take us long to know she had to come to Paws Crossed. At first glance, she looks much older than her 5 years. She had a tragic start at life that included being horribly overbred. Soon after arriving, she went for a vet visit. She went in for a full blood work and check up to make sure she was able for the obvious surgery she needed for her unformed, uncared for eye.

Throughout the whole long process, she stayed in foster with one of our incredible volunteers who brought her to all of her appointments and surgery and gave Abu something she never had ...a comfy bed ... a home ... a family. And just last week, it became official ... foster mom became forever mom. 💗

We had so much fun today Zooming with this awesome group of young ladies!!!

A Girl Scout Leader (who is also the mom to PCAR ALUM Sadie, FKA Blossom) reached out to us about her troop doing a donation drive for the pets of Paws Crossed. They will be delivering all the goodies later in December. To prep them for their visit, they asked if Jennifer would do a zoom with them and talk to them all about how she began Paws Crossed and asked awesome questions about the dogs and cats! 🐾
