Such a ham! Griffin was purring and rolling around on his back just as soon as he woke up from anesthesia after his neuter procedure last week. He can't get enough belly rubs and is such a friendly and outgoing kitten. This guy was skinny and sick when he was first found all alone in the road and he's made a wonderful recovery. His ghost-colored fever coat is slowly but surely returning to black to reflect his good health. Griffin loves other cats and this 3 month old is capable of befriending even the grumpiest adult cats. All tuckered out after a really big day! So many smells to investigate... Rosebud was spayed this week and she's recovering in her very own foster home and making lots of new friends. This sweet little lady is 9 weeks old and a petite 6.5 pounds. We believe she'll remain small like her mama Jessie who weighs about 14 pounds. Rosebud likes company and she's learning to interact with the cats and big dogs in her foster home. This pup will be ready for a family of her own in no time at all! He's a sweet, sensitive, 1.5 year old cuddle bug and it took him a few weeks to get settled before he was brave enough to really explore every inch of his foster home. Now he's out and being very social. Fuego finds his footing more and more each day. He is a master of snuggling under the covers…with or without a person which means his family has to first check before sitting down on any bed! Fuego is ready for adoption to a patient and understanding home with or without other pets.

Barn cat for hire! This adult male tuxedo is a healthy feral cat looking for a barn of his own. He's not particularly fond of humans and is looking for a job on mouse patrol with a daily meal and a nice roof over his head. The barn should be situated far from any busy roads. He will need to be confined for the first 30 days in his new home while he acclimates to all the new sounds and smells and gets settled in. This initial period is very important and we can loan you a large wire dog crate and litter box to help set him up for success. We have arranged for him to be neutered in Calistoga on 12/6 and he will be ready to go home that same day. Contact our friends at the Clearlake Animal Shelter ASAP if you have a good spot for this fella and ask for Charmaine, 707-273-9440.

Melody loves every human she meets and makes cat and dog friends easily. She's a chatty loud girl with plenty to say. Melody asks for a canned food snack when you go near the fridge and she chirps for more pets when cuddling her humans in bed each night! Love nibbles too! She's an active and playful 2 year old cat and having only three legs after her accident isn't slowing her down one iota. She has healed marvelously and is perfectly capable of racing her mom down the hall to the kitchen and tripping you up for love! She is friendly enough that the crowds at our latest adoption event didn't phase her. Melody is really easy to love!

Thick as thieves! These two extra friendly bottle raised kittens don't know they're not related and they act like sisters so we'd love to see little Fig and Cookie Dough be adopted together. They are both fighting off an upper respiratory infection and are almost healthy enough to go home. Apply now to meet these two and once their sniffles are gone, you can bring them home!
